What can i do to have safe sex?

My boyfriend and i have always had safe sex by using a condom, but he always brags about how the condom bothers him and he rather not use it, what do you suggest we do in order to keep it safe?...

Lauren☠	Guys always say that! Dont just change because "the condom bothers him". At least he gets to have sex with you! lol. However if I was you and my boyfriend wanted to stop using the condom, I would tell him that we should both go get tested. and if the results come back clean then you have alot of options for birth control. Like the pill, spermicidal creams and jellys and mousse's, female condoms, diaphrams, sponges, the shot... You should talk to your gyno to see what the best option for you would be. Good luck.

He's right, condoms do change the sensation a little (about like a latex glove changes the sensation in your fingertips). "Bareback" feels a little nicer and doesn't require an interruption at a passionate moment, but it's not that big a deal. Tell him he can have sex with you in a condom, or without one in his hand.
Mr.Jim Lahey	First of all, some STD's can stay dormant for YEARS, being even undetectable by a doctor. These include herpes and HPV (genital warts). So I would NOT suggest both just gettting tested clean then having bare sex. Ok the no comdom thing: He's saying that because for guys, sex feels a million times better without a condom, yet the difference isn't that huge for women. Doesn't help the situation, seeing that the man has more control of the condom. Anyway, yeah always use one. Despite all the stuff school and TV has taught you, you'd be surprised of the less talked about STD's that are less deadly, but EXTREMELY contageous, and still can cause a lot of heartache i.e. loss of fertility, warts, cervical cancers.... I suggest the Durex Avanti condom. Because they are non latex, they are stronger material and are even thinner that the thinnest of latex condoms. Also, use a WATER based lube (oil base breaks the condom). This combo, in my opinion is the closest feeling to wearing nothing. Lastly, female condoms are proven to be less efficient than the male condom. Why increase your risk?.....good luck.

Even if both of you get tested and you guys are clean and you get on the pill, if he wanders you could end up with an STD. I suggest you stick to condom's and don't let his smarta$$ persuade you otherwise. Your health is most important.

You can start taking the pill, use the nuvaring, get the shot (Depo), etc... As a note, with the pill, you miss one day and you're at TOTAL risk of getting pregnant.
