My Opinion
 |
If the boy's father is circumcised, then definitely yes. So in my case yes I would have my boy circumcised. It is one of the oldest operations known to man. In my opinion it only has benefits. If you want my personal story ( I was circumcised as an adult) then just email me.

Defiantly circumcise. My wonderful parents forgot to teach me to pull the foreskin back and clean the head regularly. I had to have a circumcision at the age of 13 because the foreskin could not be pulled back. This as you can imagine was very embarrassing for me. The long and short of it is circumcision is more hygienic, women tend to find it more attractive and yes it may decrease the sensitivity of the head but doesn't negatively effect their sex life.

circumcize ......i think it would be cleaner and easier to clean around the head of the penis. Also it won't be so much bacteria getting trap around the skin.

those videos like that aren't accurate, they use anesthesia now, they don't cry like that with the anesthesia. When my nephew had it done he didn't feel anything except for the needle that gave him the anesthesia.

i'm circumsized and happy. yes its painful but a baby only cries for the time being... after that they forget about it. its more painful for grown ups to watch cus we know pain and have experienced it at different levels. ask any circumsized male and they won't remember the pain from that long ago.

we chose to however, it seems to be a dying procedure. the men that arent cut dont seem to get all the problems that they used to due to better cleaning of themselves. i say cut but thats me, if he wishes for it to be done down the road its gonna hurt like hell. he wont remember it and is never gonna get angry because you did it, cant change that anyway but when he is older its a how come you didnt circumsize me?

No, I wouldn't have a son circumsized. Its medically unnecessary and I'm neither Jewish nor Muslim so there are no religious requirements for it either.

No, dont!
if u want to fall for the stupid myths that its healthier your an idiot. every little boy will be filthy it doesnt matter if they r cut or not.
i think its just cosmetic surgery.
Btw circumcision rates have fallen to 50% in the US. and i do believe it was up in the 80 or 90% back in the day. OUCH a country full of screaming children!

No.
Problems with the foreskin later in life are very rare, and it should also be noted that circumcision doesn't reduce the risk of contracting infections day to day, it *increases* it.
I think more importantly than the health concerns, it should be his choice. I find the notion that we're even *allowed* to consider doing it to our children pretty vile.

No,don't.There's no medical reason to do it!!And don't do it just so he won't look different down there, that's not a good reason,as for health risks, there aren't any.I always thought that I would circumsize my kids, isn't thaat what we do in the U.S? My husband is not circumsized,he is very clean and never had an infection, neither has my son!! google the website nocirc.org Gl Also I had two friends who had complicatiions with their boys, for one of them the Dr didn't take enough of the skin off and the other one couldn't stop the bleeding.

nope. i come from a circumcised culture, but i think natural is way better in every way. and when you think about it, it really is mutilation. let his God-made body be!
and it is a myth that an uncircumcised penis causes problems.

I'm a guy, so it would be up to my wife. I wasn't "snipped" and, personally, I wouldn't have my child circumsized either. I don't see the point. Its generally accepted among pediatrics that there are no health benefits, or any other kind of benefits to circumsision, and I wouldn't want my baby to go through that kind of pain for no reason, even if he doesn't remember it.
