I'm glad that my parents had me circumcised at birth.
If they didn't i would definitely had the surgery myself.
But this may only be because where i am growing up everyone is old-fashoned, and almost every boy is circumzised. Thank god.

I am very happy that my parents got me circumcised. When I first saw a picture of an uncircumcised penis, it almost made me sick. This was actually after I got out of high school. No offense intended to those who are not. I guess I grew up rather sheltered in the fact that I didn't know that one could not be circumcised. I thought that all guys were at birth. I really like the way mine looks, so yes, I am very glad to be circumcised.

I think it is ok to circumcise, but on the other hand it is ok if you are not circumcised if yoy keep clean and make sure the hide does not grow to the head of your penis in your early years.

Y is everyone putting it down? I am VERY happy i was circumsized when i was baby and now dont remember anything about it. Not upset at them at all, quite the opposite. Ppl who are against circumsicion will tell you otherwise, but as you can see the no one is upset and most ppl are happy.

I kind of wish my parents had chosen to have me circumcised as an infant, simply because I had to have it done later on in life anyway. But am I upset? No. I love my parents dearly, and I know that they acted in what they thought was in my best interests. That's all that parents can do, really. Sure, you might disagree with them, or think they made a big mistake, but you have to recognize that they only made their decision because they love you.

1) I'm NOT circumcised.
2) I'm very happy that my parents didn't do that because for one thing there was no medical reason to and my foreskin is perfectly fine and secondly, I rather like that part of my body and can't imagine it not being there.

I'm quite content with my uncircumcised penis as it is, and quite happy my mother had the proper decency to allow me to come to my own conclusions about my foreskin, rather than simply remove it "in my best interest." I can assure you that what is in my best interest may not necessarily be what my parents think, it is after all MY best interest, not the interests of my mom or the doctor or society. On top of that, sexual pleasure is a huge interest of everybody, so keeping an intact penis would actually be in the best interest of any guy who wants to get the most sexual pleasure out of his penis. So, by my remaining intact, my sexual interests and pleasure remain at their peak, and if I don't like it, I could always change that (not that I ever will get circumcised) but if I were circumcised, I wouldn't be able to change my penis and would be left having to live with it as it was. I'm totally happy with my mom's decision to leave me intact, and it should honestly be the decision of every parent, because the parent has no right to alter a boy's penis without his consent, it should be the boy's decision when he gets older, even all the pro-circ activists know that, as many of them have willingly come to the decision to get circumcised and are happier for it, and their personal decision has deep meaning to them for that very reason. So don't impose such a inhumane practice on non-consenting people, simply leave the penis as it is supposed to be and either way, the owner will be happy, if he chooses to change it or leave it.

From the research I've done and everything, I'm very happy my parents kept me the way I was meant to be. The only thing that has gotten a bit annoying is not being able to have the foreskin retract when I'm erect. It's easy when I'm flaccid, but it's different when I'm hard. But hey, that can be fixed in time :D I just need to Loosen it a little.
I hear that women enjoy sex more when it's with a natural male (uncircumcised).
And to say that the foreskin is a mistake in the way men were made is absurd. Why is it on every male ever born? It's there for a purpose. It's not there just to collect smegma (besides, that's easy to clean out anyway). Circumcision, in my opinion, is for lazy people. No wonder it's so dominant in America and not the rest of the world WHO KNOWS BETTER =O

Actually....I am very thankful to my parents for keeping with their European traditions (Spain) and not having me circumcised, although I was born and raised in NYC.
It gave me the opportunity to have a choice, and I chose to stay natural.
Being uncircumcised has been a real blessing to me, and has resulted in many incredible sexual experiences and many girls discovering how much fun it can be.
So....I'm not upset at all...I'm very thankful indeed!

My boyfriend is pleased he's intact, like all the intact men I've asked about this, if he were unhappy though he could get cut (with consent and painkillers, unlike a baby), whereas an unhappy circumcised man would be stuck.

Yeah, I'm kinda pissed that someone thinks it's ok to just lop off part of someone elses body. it's mutilation! why don't they just go ahead and remove your appendix too since it's almost certain to give you problems at some point and maybe even kill you!
why don't we implant ID/ tracking microchips in infants to prevent mixups and make it easier to trackdown runaways and truants and kidnap victims .
NOBODY has the right to unneccessarily mutilate someone else.

I detest being mutilated. It stuffed me up for years. Many men feel this way but we don't mention it much except on the net. I didn't tell may parents even when once my mum asked me. I lied because I thought people would think I was silly.
It started when I was shocked when I saw a mate masturbating when I was about 12. The fact that he could stroke the entire length of his penis with the gliding action of his skin made me realise I had lost a lot. I investigated further and realised I had lost a hell of a lot.
Circumcision is the amputation of the foreskin, not extra skin but an integral part of the penis; measuring 15 square inches in an adult and accounting for over half the penile skin, lots of specialised nerve endings and the most sensitive parts of the penis.
Not one medical organisation in the world recommends routine infant circumcision anymore but the US is the last western nation still doing this to about 50% of its newborn males. They still don't generally use anaesthetic either. It's child abuse, pure and simple.
The penis forms as one organ and at birth the foreskin is usually fused to the glans like a fingernail to its finger. So there is no cavity for germs and dirt to collect in until it separates naturally later. Only the boy himself should retract it and then he can be taught to skin back and rinse with plain water regularly.
Misguided attempts to retract too early, often by doctors and nurses, are the main cause of damage to boys’ foreskins and the real main reason for childhood circumcisions.
To perform a neo-natal circumcision the circumciser has to rip the foreskin away from the glans with forceps. Then the foreskin is either cut away or clamped until it falls off. Both methods cause the baby extreme pain and his raw glans and wound sting every time he urinates. It's quite common for the raw edges of the cut foreskin to fuse to the raw glans during the healing process, forming skin bridges or tags. These complications and other more serious ones are often not found till puberty and do not show up in complication statistics.
More serious complications, though not common are immediate. Some babies lose their penis to infection, bleed profusely (often because they are haemophiliac) or even die each year.
The claimed benefits of circumcision are a beat up (based on flawed studies) and don't really exist but medical authorities have worked out that the overall complication rate is higher than all the benefits claimed by the pro-cutting advocates. One by one the claims are disproved but the pro-cutting zealots come up with more and keep quoting the old ones despite the evidence against them. For example you have more chance of dying from a circumcision or losing your penis from infection than from penile cancer. The rate of penile cancer is higher in the largely-circumcised USA than in European countries where less than 1% of the male population is circumcised. Plus circumcised men have been found to have penile cancer, mostly on the scar. (Remember this is a very rare disease in intact or circumcised men).
A very recent study in New Zealand followed a cohort of boys through life from birth to age 32. About 40% were circumcised. The intact males had a slightly lower rate of sexually transmitted infections than the circumcised but there was no significant difference.
Using surgery to mutilate the genitals instead of washing in a modern western society makes no sense. Normal intact male genitals are, if anything, easier to wash than female ones and the same substance, smegma collects in the genital folds of both sexes. A few intact males have problems with tight foreskin but this is only a tiny proportion of intact males. The condition can now be almost always treated with simple stretching exercises, sometimes in combination with a steroid cream that speeds up the process. However doctors who do not value the preservation of the foreskin often still trot out circumcision as a first-option treatment in the US and even some other countries.
