friend, growing tall is all in the genes. also in your protein intake. i'd continue with the milk. futhermore you are 16, i know a male friend who shot a few inches only when he was 18 or 19. you are still undergoing puberty, so there is a chance. however it is also dependent on your body.
don't worry so much about it. you're going to stress yourself out just thinking about how to keep being better. you have a whole lifetime ahead to do that.

Yes, growth spurts happen at irregular times, at 16 you are due two more, one when your 17 - 18 and another one at 21 -24.

Some people don't stop growing until they're 19....
BUt i dunno, when i was like 8, the doctors said I was going to be 5'6 and then when i turned 13 they were like, you're only going to be 5'2 ....right now I'm 5'0 and I'm 13 and i hope I get taller!!!!!!! my mom is 5'4 and my dad's 5'6.

Well men usally grow until their eighteen(18) some even until their early 20s, so you should grow a few more inches.But i sugest that you eat healthy, go to bed so that you have at least 8 hours of sleep and excercuse regularly.

yeah u'll grow i was 17 and i always was taller then my older brother, when he turned 19 in less then 2 months he grew 3 inches taller then me, i couldn't believe it, all my life i always made fun of how so much shorter then he was then me, boys just have akward growth spurts, and like everyone said, u don't stop growing until ur 21, and also it may depend a little but ur parents height doesn't matter, its ur grandparrnts, my mom's 5'2 and my dad is 6'3. and my grandPs are way taller then they are when they were in there prime,and just to clear this up coffee, does'nt stunt ur growth. I drink plenty of it and my bro does 2.

im a junior too. and i think you will grow. a lot of guys at my school are short and there are a lot shorter than you. its ok dont worry too much about your height. guys grow as late as in their early 20s. i think you will be around your dads height.

Most people keep growing up to the age of 21.
Everyone is different some people are short and then take a huge stretch and others grow and grow and stop,
the ones that stay short and suddenly shoot up usually end up taller than the ones that shot up straight away
but everyone is different...As I said it's difficult to predict.
You need Calcium, drink loads of milk it helps you height growth.
[edit] my dad and mom are short but I am much taller than them.

As a mom of a 13 teen yr. old , he is 5'9''(And doesn't have an athletic bone in his body.) I find great comfort in him being a healthy child and a well mannered child that loves the lord and respects his parents.
Height and weight are the last thing I beleive you should worry about .I think you stop growing around 18-21yrs.
But what if it doesn't happen ,love you as you are.

couldn't tell you if you will or not, not a medical doctor. My best friend growing up was like mid 5 foot range. Last year of high school he shot up to 6'1 so there is a possibility. Your parent are not tall so genetics could screw ya. I think the average height in America is like 5'10 or so. Personally I hit 6'1 about age 14 and haven't grown any since, very hard to just speculate.

Im 17 and 5'3, which has been the same for the past two years and i am active in sports and overloaded with homework as well...maybe well grow maybe not...just have to wait and see....dont get overworked about it

I doubt it, but you won't completly stop growing height wise until you're 18, about.
You're Dad is not tall, Your Mother is very short, so, you probably won't grow too much more. Sorry ):
But don't worry about it, if you got the looks, who cares about the height.
You can still get the girls.
I'd date a short guy any day.

In 8th grade my brother was almost 4 inches shorter than me (I am 5' 5")...He is now 6' 2".....He grew several of those inches after his senior year. So who knows...I wouldn't expect you to get really tall seen how both your parents are on the shorter side...but I would certainly say there is a possibility you still have some growing to do.

I knew a guy who had a growth spurt after highschool. I was used to him being kind of short and scrawney then when I saw him he was tallet than me! This was like a year after highschool.

usually guys dont stop growing untill like 19 or something..you still got a shot at growing a couple inches, maybe...but your probably gonna have to live with being 5.3...
