How do you get deressed in the locker room, if you wear whitey tighties?

it seems i am the only afican american in high school who wear briefs. nobody does and i dont dress in front of anybody until after they leave. it always makes me late to class. i am going on a scloarship to texas a&m to play basketball this summer. how to i solve my problem if i go to college and everybody is either naked or in their underwear. can someone help.

Anonymous	if you find that briefs are more comfortable then try a differernt color like black or something, its less noticable that you are wearing briefs and if anyone does make fun of you just ask them why they're looking at you anyway.

Roman	By trunks or boxer briefs..... i dont mind changing when i wear them..... trunks are just longer then briefs and shorter than boxer briefs....and there comfortable

oldsalt6585	What difference does it make what kind of underwear you wear? Its' YOUR CHOICE. Today many people get hung up on DESIGNERS telling us WHAT TO WEAR. I wear what ever I want, my wife does the same. I remember when colored low briefs came out. Some guys made fun of the guys who wore them because they were like women's panties..no slit in the front. Don't be forced to wear what other people want you to wear. Try some lower riding BVDs and you might feel more comfortable around the other guys. What college will you be going to where everyone goes naked or in their underwear?

Maple	Congratulations on your scholarship! I think you will find that college is very different from high school. The athletes you will meet on a serious college team are more likely to want the support of whitey tighties. They are also a bit more mature about how they react to "fashion" differences. Wear what is comfortable for you. It's nobody else's business. If you act confident, it won't be a problem. If you show any sign of embarrassment or hesitation, those high school guys will be after you like a pack of wolves. You really have to stand up for your right to wear what YOU find comfortable. If anybody comments, tell them you are getting ready for college, and that nobody on a serious college team would wear anything but briefs. It may or may not be true, but the high school guys who are tormenting you won't know that! Don't make yourself late for class, and don't hide. Hiding just encourages the bullies. You have to act like you don't care what they say and tease them back about something. Bullies love guys who can be controlled. Don't let them run your life for you, and after a few tries they will find another victim and leave you alone.

Terry	Why is this a problem? No-one in the locker room is interested in what you've got, or how you put on your underwear! Just dress the same way you do in the mornings and forget there are others around - they aren't looking at you, unless they fancy you!

Anthony R	You have to get over your fear of changing in front of people. It can be uncomfortable to be 'the only one' but there are probably other guys who do wear briefs. They are just underwear and somthing that really amounts to nothing. You may get ragged on by the guys for a few days, but they'll get over it as will you. You are going to A&M to play basketball, that means that you have mad skills. The guys wont care what you wear if you're winning the games for them. Have fun at A&M.

The Rabbi	I wear what I am comfortable wearing. If anyone doesn't like it, then tell them you are an individualist and march to a different drummer. That ought to shut them up. You might want to give up your self-conciousness. It is wasting your time to think of such trivial matters when the whole world is depending on you growing up to be a major contributor of society.

aMmOOooR	I used to face the same problem. That's why I loved my towel. I used to wrap by lower body with the towel whenever I'm in my briefs, and only when I put on the pants, I remove the towel. No body ever comments on that ;-)

Mr. G	Tidy whities are actually better to wear during athletic events. They offer more support than boxers. If it is still a problem, try colors other than white or boxer briefs...the "tidy whities" that are longer like bicycle shorts.
