Guys who NEED a "girly" girl have self-esteem issues, as in they need somebody to "protect", and society teaches us that a not-very-confident girl is desirable for men (a person with low self-esteem is easy to control and to keep stupefied). As for me, I'd rather a confident girl. I would like someone with whom I could have an interesting conversation with, whom I'd be able to support and she would be able to support me just the same. You'll see small guys with large women, really skinny guys with large women. My self and probably most guys like the reserved, shy, soft spoken girls, but not to shy and soft spoken. Tigger	whether a girl is confident or not isnt too important to me. i like nice girls. some are talkative, some arent. fat women think all that matters is confidence because they dont have any. and they dont have any for a good reason. a girl needs to know how to take care of herself. if she cant take care of herself, she cant take care of anyone else. it takes discipline to eat one scoop of ice cream instead of 5 and to go take a jog instead of chewing a Tootsie Roll.
