I am 16 years old and my penis is 3 inches when erect and maybe 1/2 to 5/8 wide(imagine a babies), 1/2 when flacid. I am worried, especially when my 5 year old cousin says "thats a small peenee" my penis has never grown. EVER. I have just started to get some brown/black hairs around the base of my penis, but I have never produced semen in my life. I am starting to get worried, especially now that I have some interest in dating, and some of my friends have had sex. I also get erections frequently for no apparent reason.. Also right at the base of my penis I have some yellow lumps that are under the skin.Please help me I am worried that it will never grow!

Roberto	Stinedre, You have me worried too, I am gay and so I have seen a heck of a lot of penis's. At sixteen you should have at least four inches. Unless your puberty had been delayed by hormone deficiencies. Talk to your dad tonight or if thats too difficult. see your counselor at school and definitely see your family doctor. there is help to get, and its your doctor that will have access to the help you need. please don't delay do it as soon as you switch off the computer. milkwig	Dude. The random erection is the best thing about being a guy. However, the size is a bit small. I'm sure a lot of guys have that problem though. Most of the nerves in the female genitals are right at the opening, and the clit. Get good at working them out and you'll be ok.

Searcher	you are fine. the only problem is that you are slow gettign hit with puberty. A lot ogf the guys you see in the showers after gym will have more hair and bigger testicles and penise. But not to worry, just because you didn't start as early doesn't mean you won't catch up pretty quickly. I bet you a buck by 18 you can compare proudly with the rest of the guys.

Jules	I don't think you need to worry yet. You are a bit late starting puberty but you will catch up soon enough. If you are starting to grow hairs, that's good & the rest of it will soon follow. Don't worry about having sex yet. You are young & have the rest of your life to learn about women & dating & sex. There is no shame in being a virgin. I find it sexy if a guy is still a virgin. If you are still concerned about your development start out with a girl who is also a virgin & explore together what feels good. (if she hasn't had sex before then you will have the biggest one she has ever seen.) In my experience men with smaller penises often have developed more skills at foreplay.

3000	The yellow lumps are a mystery to me and should most likely be seen by a medical doctor. If you're just starting to get hair and spontaneous erections now, no worries. You're what is called a late bloomer. Your other growth will follow shortly (no pun intended). Think about not letting your 5 y.o. cousin see your "small peenee" anymore. Nothing good can come of your being emasculated by someone 11 years your junior.

angelj16tx	It seems that you hit puberty later than most guys. But don't worry, you are on the way to become a fully grown man. Be patient and within a few weeks your body will look more hairy, and your penis will be waaay bigger. Everything is OK! even the yellow lumps are normal. Relax, and enjoy life man!

dock ter do little	Go see a UROLOGIST they know more about that stuff. Sounds like you are a bit SMALL but that is not such a problem. I know a girl who said she met a guy who was TINY but KNEW HOW TO USE IT and he wasnt very embarassed about it He dated a lot of women too. And remember this.By the time a woman is in the position where she is about to see your erect PENIS, you have already gotten her where you want her. SHE WONT RUN ........and you will have her. If puberty is unusally late, though, you may find it best talking with a doctor, especially if puberty procedes unusually slowly. There are medical means of 'kick-starting' puberty which may help.

haphazard_artist	Your probably a late bloomer, as they call it... and maybe, MAYBE you may have a horomone defecincey of Testosterone (the male hormone). This hormone starts the growth of sexual characteristics, such as a deepened voice, more body hair, and..well, um.. a bigger penis. If I were a guy I'd go and see the urologist.
