i was lying on the sofa watching tv and somebody dropped a spoon from their plate onto my head. it didnt break the skin but came up in a small bump. i went to bed then woke up and it is tender and is becoming a bigger bump

how can i make it go down and stop being so sensitive

i guess the whole spoon thing made this entire question more than a little bit of a joke

What you have is a serious complication of Spooninitis. You should schedule an appointment with your doctor before the end of the week to have it looked at. It can be serious with out treatment. He will prescribe an inexpensive medication that will help clear up the problem in no time. Hope this helps!

It will be tender as there is little flesh there but more bone. You have probably bruised the area which is why it is swollen and painful. Icepack or frozen peas is best way forward and maybe some Paracetamol. Assuming you are getting no nausea or visual problems associated with concussion..just treat with analgesia and ice packs.

I've heard if you hit the opposite side of your head, the bump will go down.
