First of all, put some ice on it for the swelling and pain. Then tomorrow, if it is still hurting you may need to see a doc. Take some Ibuprofen for the pain as well (or alieve). Just tell them you hurt it while trying to carry your backpack or something.

If you really do not want your parents to find out I would take whatever change you may have and check the Internet for the closest health clinic, my town has clinic's inside of certain Walgreen's, check the bus route, then ride the bus over there. Just let them know you want someone to look at it, most clinics in my town will just look at it and tell you if you need a doctor, buy the brace from any pharmacy. I'm sure they will not turn down a helpless 13 year old girl.

put an ice pack on it for a little while & see if that helps. If not, it may just be sore for a couple days, maybe it's a little bruised. I highly doubt it's broken tho or you'd be in much more pain. Wait a couple days & if the pain doesn't subside, just tell your parents it was an accident and call your doc. Never ignore something that hurts. good luck :)

Sweetly don't worry , i dont think you broke your wrist, otherwise you wouldn't be able to even be here cause of the pain, what i would recommend u to do is to get some ice, and leave for a couple of minutes, and take an Aspirin or something for the pain, the body has its power to heal itself. And i totally understand the parents thing.. my mom is the same too..

You merely sprained your wrist. I suggest you take a warme bath and let it soak for a while. That will eaze the pain a little. As for the wrapping, you should try to get one of those cloth gauzes. You dhould also try puting something cold over it. Like ice, or frozen bagged vegtables.

owch i did the same thing! try wraping it in gosse[big white long cloth banndage] or take like a towel or rag and roll it around your wrist and tape it so its hard to bend your wrist. The less you bent it, the sooner it will heal. I wish you good luck[=

i'm prety much the sme age as you this happens to me all the time at football. if you have medical tape wrap it in that then before you go to bed and when you wake up in the morning, with FOOD, tape like two Ibprophens (Motrin/Advil). then when you go to bed at nite take like a heat pad or a warm washcloth (something that can hold heat) and wrap it around your wrist for like a half hour.

he probable broke it you need to go to the Doctor and get a x-ray done! tell your parents its ok it they over react! you need to get a cast! i broke mine playing soccer, i didn't know it was broken, actually it hurt for like 4 days and it was killing me, i didn't think it was broken but it was..and i found that out but telling my mom and going to the docter!

dont worry about your parents over-reacting. a boy should never do that to you, that is way too rough. Your wrist could be very badly sprained and can only get better if u see a doctor. is your wrist swollen. How are u supposed to write in school if your wrist hurts and how r u going to explain to your teacher that u cant write. tell your parents.

ok, im pretty sure you have a sprained wrist, but since its hurting w/o activity, it might be majior and last for a long period of time. put an ice patch on ur wrist so u can numb the pain. do this whenever you can when ur parents arent around-they'll thanks something suspiticious is happening. take an Advil or tylonel every 7 hrs to help calm the pain if it hurts that bad. take it easy. tell the nurse about it if they dont call ur parents.
ps: dont wrap it. leave it open so blood can flow through easy. its better for it. although pressure is more comefortable on ur arm, try to just use ice. hope i could help!
