When people get "black eyes", it's cuz the hit area gets bruised --bruises have their characteristic black/purple/blue appearance because of blood that seeps into the tissue in that area (the force of impact damages the capillaries). Black people do not get "white eyes" when hit; however, because of their darker skin, it will be less noticeable than a comparable injury in a white person. You can still see it though if you look, since it becomes darker --the contrast is just not as big. |

I suppose the bruising would become purple in colour or blue, i mean on white people it isn't exactly "black", more dark blueish |
