sorry to hear that hun! i stuff like that all the time. theres really nothing you can do for pain but i would keep it cleaned out and try to wear some shorts so you can leave it without a bandaid because it needs to get air to heal.

Ice it up and keep it clean and away from further harm. Let your body heal itself. I hate those nasty bruises too!

Make an ice pack (use a bag of frozen peas because they are smaller and will 'form' better around your thigh) and apply it to the bruise/abrasion for 15 minutes every hour. If and when possible, elevate your thigh until it is above (higher than) your heart ... this will reduce the swelling and also the pain. Next time, when you see something under a tarp, don't walk into it ... or into anything else. Better to be safe than sorry ... but take two Aspirin now, and take two more Aspirin every four to six hours if the pain continues. If you have not had a tetanus shot in the last ten years, of if you can't remember when you had one, go to the doctor and get the shot ... he'll tell you to apply and ice pack and raise your thigh to above the level of your heart too for pain and swelling.

Ouch! That hurts dosn't it? You should let it heal natrully during the day then put something cold on it about ten miniutes before you go to bed if it doesn't work then go and get it checked ouut.

Where glasses. LOL JK but, yes sheet metal cuts do hurt usually not at the moment. Just later you will have pain. I have gotten several cuts with sheet metal and never felt it til i see the blood that im leaving behind. Then i just wrap it to stop the bleeding and just give it time to heal. You can take some over the counter pills like Advil to help with the pain. Other than that, the ointment to help it heal faster.

Ice pack on the bruised area for 15-20 minutes, take it off for 15 minutes, then reapply. Do not leave it on for too long as it'll cause more bad than good. If you want to know why, the link below. Take Tylenol for the pain and let it heal. Sometimes letting it breath after cleaning the wound is better than bandaging up (if it's not a deep wound).

Well, try not to open it up again, for starters.
Make sure that it closes up alright, and other than that you'll basically just have to wait. It's a bruise and cut, it'll be fine in no time.

Just ice it. There is really nothing you can do about it. Its a bruise, this happens to people all the time. That is just a sensetive spot.

Sadly there isent much now you can do to stop the bruising, at the time a bag of ice would have help reduce swelling, sadly you will have to deal with the pain.
general pain killers may help also.
sorry i cant be more help.
