I have a bad back and no one will give an xray?

arctic1	i had simuler problem several years ago i had to finally demand my doc to give me xray.witch you have to do befor any other testing why i dont know because back problems cannot be seen with xrays.but you really need to get a MRI. this is the only way they can actually see what is happenung to your spine. mine turned out to be a deteriated disk in my lower back. it took me months of complaining to my doctor. i finally just told them to do xray no ifs and or buts Was this answer helpful to you? also...	hmm...in the US... Chiropractic Care includes an x-ray before deciding upon the treatment plan and before spinal manipulation. Some Chiropractors offer a free initial examination (which most often does not include the required x-rays). It is there that I would go next for reassurance, because those docs are in the business of finding and correcting even the tiniest of problems which may cause such pain. Edwin	Smoking is a large contributory factor to consider as this causes inflammation of the circularly areas surrounding this area. Sleeping slightly upright too helps least relieve, back pain problems. You need to be far more persuasive with you doctor and make some noise, just a little, but regular. It works! waljac6108	need to see a nuro surgen, i just had 4 rods and 8 screws and massive bone graft in my back. i had back acke for years. cant see it in x-rays, you need a MRI,and or a bone scan. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

jac	why you dont try acupunture if the doctors say you dont have nothing and they are sure , maybe the problem is emotional, the back in men keep stress, sadness and fears if you really dont have nothing maybe you can try other alternative medicine but you need ask for Radiographic or better now a magnetic resonance . BITBoston	If it's in your thoracic area, then try using an electrical stimulation application. You can receive this treatment at a PT/AT clinic and they can also give you a hand held e-stim machine called TENS unit that you can use at home. It's fairly simple to use and you can attach the machine itself to your belt or pants even while working. There's also spinal tractions that you can receive at PT/AT clinics where they stretch your spine so that it can realign itself.
