I was minutes away from bleeding to death when I had mine done.
They had to take me back into surgery twice and I was given 7 blood transfusions.

I was 5 years old at the time.

Pretty tramautic, needless to say.

tonsillectomy is a very simple surgical proceedure it is done as out patient surgery and you are in and out in just a few hours of course there is always the threat of complications as with any surgery both miner and major but complications with tonsillectomys are rare in this day and time so i would not be to concearned about the out come good luck and Gods blessing.

If anesthesia is used to put you completely under there's always the risks associated with that...AS WELL AS bleeding to death.
