yakkydoc	If your MT is positive, it is normal in adults as most have been exposed to TB. What is your child's age? How positive is MT? If the child is <4years old , He needs to be put on Inh to prevent TB. If MT is >10mm positive, it is significant at any age, especially if the child does not have a BCG scar. The child should be put on Inh and Rifampicin for 6 months.If MT is 5 to 10mm and the child has a BCG scar, nothing needs to be done, TB is curable with proper treatment. Do not worry.
