My grandfather had 3 strokes and he said he was dizzy, had a horrible headache and felt like he couldn't really move or talk. Talk to your doctor if you're concerned as no one on here is an MD =)

if you ask the person a question like their name and they cannot speak. i) 2) if you ask them to raise their arm and they cannot 3) if they cannot follow your finger with their eyes and the eyes are dazed....they might be suffering from a stroke.

My father in law had mini strokes a few weeks ago.
His artery in his neck was blocked he was on the verge to a massive stroke so any small strokes = a big one is coming.
He had numb fingers, and an arm. Vision blurry
Like a shade was drawn in one eye.
This lasted awhile (hour +) and went away.
He went to the eye doctor who sent him to his real MD -
who sent him to the ER.
Speech, headache, any numbness hands, feet, legs.
Call your MD! Take an asprin, every day!

Most symptoms of a stroke, or a TIA(transient ischemic attack) include dizziness, one sided weakness, inability to talk or swallow, possibly headache if their blood pressure is dangerously high among some others. The biggest is the one sided weakness. If someone cannot raise both arms and keep both of them level in the air, that is a major sign. Also, ask someone to smile. If they only use half of there mouth, that would be a symptom of a stroke.
