Not at all, it's good.
The question is, are you taking any med's that slow your rate, because you are approaching Bradycardia, or slow heart rate.
If you execise a lot, then this range is very good, it shows your heart is ij great shape, along with the rest of you. Many professional athletes are in this range.
If you are not on med's that effect heart rate, nor in fantastic physical shape and working out often, then you need to have a cardiologist take a look at yiou to tell you WHY your rate is in that range, because it COULD indicate you have some sort of blockage somewhere or electrical nerve signal impair, menmt that may need treating.
IF YOU FEEL FINE, and there is no medical reason for where it is, no problem. Some people do not feel there best when it gets low like yours, and medication can raise it slightly to where you DO feel great all the time.
Be careful not to get up too fast, you might feel faint..or even faint, with that low of rate if you suddenly ask your heart to do what it wasn't doing the moment before.
Have you been checked for any kind of heart murmur ?
Having a Cardiologist or a Board Certified Internal Medicine Specialist is always a good thing, and GOING to them for routine checkups is what is necessary so they get to know you and give you the answers that apply to YOU...so I would go see one, especially if this was a sudden onset and not where you have been all your life..thats what docs are there for, looking us over and giving us the RIGHT answers to our concerns !!!

Even though theoretically the normal heart rate is between 60 - 100 per minute, heart rate in the 50s could also be fine. More so in a trained athlete. It will be nice to document the rhythm to be sinus by getting an ECG evaluated by a physician.
