No, it is just a shape of a heart. A real heart is bloody. And, Yes it is a heart shape but no the bloody one!!

It's only roughly similar to the picture you posted (it's more like the second answers' image).
It's roughly symmetrical, but the left side is a lot bigger than the right ('cos the left side pumps blood to your whole body, while the right side just pumps to the lungs).
