Many people are going to tell you to just 'eat more food' or 'eat junk food' because it has a lot of calories. well i'm a health major and the best answer to this question is, yes, eat more, but not necessarily all junk, just eat concentrated calories like in carbohydrates, make sure you get enough protein (check a nutrition site like eatright.org for your proper level) and honestly, WORK OUT with weights. weight training is going to help you pack on lean muscle and hopefully bulk up somewhat so you can weigh more. i'd say more but I dont want this to run too long. :)

Just eating or using weight-gaining products isn't healthy for you. Try eating your regular diet, but add on foods that have lots of starches or carbohydrates. Also, keep up exercise, but do something less active if not already. Aerobic exercising very little each month is o.k. Good luck!

follow me around and do what i do. Eat frequently and a lot. take naps often. sit a lot. play on the computer. avoid exercise.if you get the urge to exercise, lay down until it goes away. go on starvation diets to lose a few pounds and then gain it all back and more when you fail.
Eat lots of french fries with cheese and chili. ddrink shakes and colas and avoid water. Beer is OK too. eat late at night and then go to sleep. take car everywhere and do not park far from store. drive around for an hour if you must to avoid walking. take escalator or elevator instead of stairs whenever possible. use the moving sidewalk at airports. get others to carry your stuff. order out for food a lot. stuff yourself on everything you can get in your mouth. carbs, protein, fat, sugars, whatever.never leave anything on your plate or your friends plate.
Take canybars with you and eat one after every meal. do nto forget dessert, even with breakfast, you deserve it. eat while driving and while waiting for laundry.keep a donut handy to munch during sex. (save one hand for the sex)
avoid skinny people. move to Florida.

The best way for me to gain weight (I don't need to)
is to eat a tub of Haagen Daaz Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream
and all things nice and tasty but fattening.

There are some really bad answers in this forum. If your VERY skinny and want to add some meat on your bones then start eating high carb foods. Don't follow the advise of some of these other cats. Don't start eating junk food. Don't get lazy and stop working out. You need to workout to be healthy and muscle weighs more than fat anyway. There are some really good products and GNC that provide healthy materials for gaining weight. Weight Gainer worked for me but I gained too much weight. You need to monitor your body all the time as it changes. And just because you workout doesn't mean your going to stay thin. If you take a weight gain product and workout hard every day you will definately put on some healthy puunds. Good eating my friend!

Gosh does stupidity run rampant on Yahoo....! You need to workout, eat fruit, vegetables, meat and lay off junk food. You want the weight you gain to be solid, not flab. My preference is weight training with heavy (for you) weights. Do about 8-10 reps of each exercise that work all body parts. Just workout every other day --give your body time to repair and rebuild.

Lift weights, eat more carbs and protien. Lift a LOT of HEAVY weights. I was 118 lbs at 20 years old when I joined the Army. I began lifting weights and one year later I was 140 lbs and very muscular.

This may be a medical problem. Maybe you should get your Thyroid check. I was always small but in the last year I have gained 45lb it had to do with my Thyroid. See a doctor all it end tails is a blood test and then a pill. Good luck
