Put some plastic gloves on (the type you find at petrol stations) and wear them overnight. They'll help retain moisture and will heal in no time at all.

Hi, Depending on your age and state of general health (ie if under 40 and in general good health) healing should be less than a week for a superficial graize/cut. If you are generally under the weather or over 40 things may be a little slower. If you sufffer with Diabetes you should see your doctor. If you are vegatarian you may need to take some additional vitamin/mineral supplements to boost the system. The other reasons for slow healing is that the cut is being disturbed i.e. on a finger joint where movement disturbs the healing process. Or alternatively there is infection present - where the area may be very red, possibly hot to touch or oozing pus. then you should bathe the cut with previously boiled water with a tablespoon of salt or alternatively diluted dettol/ TCP or similar. If all above fails see your Doctor. Hope that helps.

A styptic pencil will sop the bleeding. Adhesive (butterfly) stitches, which are available from most pharmacies, will bring the skin together to allow healing.

There are organic reasons a cut or wound will not heal,as this is symptomatic of certain illnesses (such as diabetes) which are virtually undetectable without a simple exam. Please see your doctor.

If its a big cut, then get those handy strips to pull it closed, see your practce nurse or go to A+E dept.
Otherwise the plastic skin products that put a clear plastic skin over the top, it stops cracking and water getting into the wound.

if it won't heal... a Dr.
when i was a chef and cut myself, I'd use black pepper, hold pressure on the wound, it doesn't sting nearly as much as you'd think, it's actually very slight... but the pepper will stop the bleeding... flour has also worked, but it hurts more.

neosoporine, superglue (as a band-aid), Vitamin K (helps clotting of blood, so it stops bleeding and starts healing). If all Else fail.. get to the doctor, you may be a hemophiliac.

If a cut will not heal, there is usually a medical reason for it. Go to your doctor.

Buy a bottle of 'New Skin' from the chemist or supermarket. It does sting when you put it on but when dry it will protect the cut till it has healed.

Seriously, if it's been longer then a few days and it doesn't appear to be healing, I'd have a Doctor check it out; you might have an underlying condition like Diabetes or it may be getting infected and causing toxins to build up in your system; I know a person who actually died from a cut that became infected and poisoned him...

super glue- don't laugh it really does work
deodorant even works on helping with the pain
The best thing to do however is to see a doctor to make sure there is no infection that you can't see.
