Celery and carrots. Or try sugar free jello or pudding. Fruit is a little more fattening, but definitely better than chips--more vitamins!

Soup or Vegetables. But, if you have the one ounce of chips (recommended serving size) every now and then, it's not going to kill you. Deprivation just makes you want them more.

trail snacks...or you can eat those new calorie counter packs from kelloggs I think. Their chips or cookies baked so its less the calories. There's a commercial on tv about it. Cottage cheese and some pineapple. It's healthy and tasty.

I'm guessing you're American, so by chips you mean crisps (UK) so you could substitute with a fruit bag (apples, bananas, oranges) or an oaty snack bar.

Salad! You could have cucumber or tomato, or carrots, paprika (pepper), nuts, you could have potato too - only instead of fried, it could be boiled or baked. So many vegetables are good substitute!

Slice up some potatos very thin, microwave them for 2-3 minutes, put on some salt or ketchup, and walla! Healthier chips, right from home, anything you want on them you can have!

I like to eat leaves of baby spinach like chips. You can even dip them in some low-cal dressing, if you like. Delicious!
You can also eat carrot slices...those are kinda like chips.

fruit salad, any veggie, nuts, low fat crackers like multi gran Breton crackers, any fruit really, low fat granola bar. Just remember everything in moderation some nuts are high in fat just a handful should do it sunflower seeds is one of them but a little is good for lowering cholesterol as does flax seed you can find both in 12 Grain multigrain bread. http://www.sparkpeople.com/ a good site you can track how many calories you are taking in i love this site.
