If it is really unbearable then you can use an icepack to reduce the swelling. I would suggest that you see a Dr for any underlying reasons especially if it has occurred before. Sometimes it can be from shaving with an unclean blade, other times from wiping your bottom from back to front causing the bacteria to enter into the vagina.

Don't let it just go away, go to your doctor. You don't want to spread n e thing. It can most likely be healed by some antibiotic. Don't worry the Gyn isn't so bad

You have a yeast infection, and don't get bothered by some of the way guys act when they don't know a thing about what you are talking about. You the info of all you dumb men out there, This is something most women go through, and it isn't nasty to want to know what to do about it. That is what this site is for. what's wrong with wanting to educate yourself? Oh, educate. That is your problem. Sorry lol

Welcome to the world of yeast infections. Get yourself some Monistat 7, Monistat 3, or Monistat 1-- depending on how many days you want to treat yourself.
Also, you may want to eat lots of plain yogurt (not the flavored, sugary kinds).
Also, try to wear panties with a cotton crotch.

I agree with everyone that said use Monistat. But instead of using the 7 day treatment, go with Monistat 1. You'll see results much faster. (I know from personal experience.) But REALLY, do it fast before it gets worse and believe me it will! Hope you feel better- R

Sounds like a yeast infection. Just pick up Monistat (spl) 1 (one) at a grocery store or drug store. that should take care of it. if it doesn't or it gets worse, stop use and go see your OB/GYN.
