physics guy	no, people swallow metal all the time, though don't be an idiot, call your doctor or a local area E.R. and ask, if you get chest pains, nausea, a head ache, feel sick, or start to bleed any where on your body especially stool or urine, go to the E.R. immediately. MC	well, im thinking it might be the kind of metal that has a coating on it, because our fingers are acidic, so if it was non-coated, it would dissolve eventually. you;re gonna have to wait for it to pass...my friends brother swallowed a magnetic marble, just watch and wait, it should be ok I THINK...you should get that checked out though to be sure.
