I smoke (normal ciggs) and i am 16. will this interfere with my gorwing any taller?

SatAtmaKaur	No it does not interfere with growth, but the risk of lung, throat and mouth cancer grows. Your risk of spending all your money for cigarettes grows too.. and the risk that someone tells you you smell bad. I hope you don't smoke indoors.. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

Expect to die 10 to 15 years earlier than non-smokers plus if you've ever kissed a smoker - yuck. All in all, not a good thing to be into - it's not as cool as some kids (and adults) make out and you'd be doing yourself a favour by giving up now before you become seriously addicted. taalyn_1	yep it sure will stunt your growth. I started smoking when I was 12. I was 5'5 at the time... I am now 36 and I only grew 2 more inches. My dad is 5'10. I could have grown atleast 3 more inches if I had not started smoking. Being 16 you are entering one of the last few growth spurts you will have. This is one of the major growth spurts too. wishorstish	When my grandfather died of lung cancer, the inside of his mouth was covered in a dark brown coating that was the tar coming up from his lungs as he lay gasping for breath. Out of his mind from the Morphine the doctors had him on to keep the pain away. The bed he was lying on was moving from the breath he was trying to get from his lungs but seemed to be coming from his stomach because his chest wasn't expanding. The brown stuff he spit up as he was dying looked like tobacco juice. He had quit smoking 20yrs before he died.I think growing taller is the last thing you have to worry about. sshazzam	Yup it can stunt your growth. Happened to my Mom. Her sister is 5'9, my Mom is 5'3". The other thing I found is smoking will give you wrinkles prematurely.
