If you only knew	DO NOT USE BenGay! That will sting, use some Hydrogen Peroxide 4-5 times a day and change your bandage every time to keep your wound clean and dry until it heals. The Hydrogen Peroxide kills off any bacteria present inside the wound. After the wound is clean you may then apply a thin layer of Neosporin if you wish. It will speed up the healing process. Meg W	Be sure to fully clean the area with alcohol (yes, I know, it will sting, but it will keep it from getting infected) or Hydrogen Peroxide. Then dab some antibiotic ointment on it with a Q-tip. Either LOOSELY put a band-aid on it (that way it won't pull when you move), or LOOSELY tape some gauze over the area. lildrummerboy8767	Haha, wow lets all just ask him how it happened, use your imagination people! I wouldn't advise putting BenGay on it like Idiot Numero Uno. That'll burn like a mofo. And I would have to speak against putting a Band-Aid on it. It'll be way to flexible for one and probably too moist, the Band Aid will just come right off or it will hurt if you end up having to forcefully remove it. You do want to give it some protection though. Try padding a Kleenex or two, or some toilet paper against it, in between yourself and the next layer. This will keep the clothes from rubbing on it and making it uncomfortable and possible worse. As for the cut itself? I would suggest Hydrogen Peroxide if you have it around. Put some on a Q-tip and softly work it into the cut. It might foam up but its just doing is job. That will do two things, disinfect it and dry it out some. If a cut is clean it will heal much faster. I can tell you from experience though that a cut there will hurt for the first bit, but after the first care you will probably not even notice. It may be tender for a short while, but it should go away in time and usually fairly quickly. The other thing you could do to speed it up is to dab some aloe vera or Vitamin E gel onto the cut.
