the gun is the best, the other way would be piercing it with the earing itself... you could get some Lidocaine, or Xylocaine (local anasthesics) to numb it

People used to do it by numbing the ear (front and back) with ice, then holding a potato behind the ear and piercing through with a needle.
If you can afford $15 or $20 bucks just go someplace and get it done!!!

They used to make self piercing earrings. Call a jewelry store and ask if they still have them. They are small hoops with a sharp post and a spring to put constant pressure on the ear. Eventually they pierce through. I never used them, so I don't know how long it takes.

Your ear has to be numb so you can put an ice cube to your ear. then take a clean unused needle and poke a hole through it. It would probably be better to have someone else do this like someone in your family or a friend.

Please I beg u not too! Not just for sanitay reasons, but when I was 10 a girlfriend's mother did it with ice & a sterile needle, I had infections galore from scratching it all the time then!
Now, I bet people behide me in a theatre can watch the movie
through my ear lobes, they're so big! Please save up r whatever,
but PLEASE don't make the same mistake I did. I'll live through
this the rest of my life! I'm 49 now and still ashamed what I did 2
my body and my ear lobes remain the same.
Don't want to see you go through what I did, I care!

I'm pretty sure those are the only SAFE ways but you can try the pin and lemon. You really shouldn't do them yourself.
uh can get a really pointy fork and poke it threw.

A fork, a toothpick, a dart, a pencil, etc. Just about any firm pointy object. That is how you can do it. How you should do it, I would say with a needle under supervision of an experienced well-sighted person.

My aunt did it this way:
She numbed her ear with ice and then used an ice pick, yes i said ice pick lol
I would just go into a place and have it done..its pretty cheap and a whole lot safer than an ice pick.

some form of needle is necessary, unless you want to hack at your ear with a small knife. They have do-it-yourself kits at some stores...but I highly reccomend going to a tattoo/piercing specialty shop where it will be both 1) less painful 2) faster 3) safer

You're going to need one of those to do it. You can't just wish a hole in your ear.
