Ear blockage? I have a dried wax in my right ear, and I can't hear that well from it. Any way to get it out? ?

Marilyn	Sometimes I put Hydrogen Peroxide on a Q-tip and gently put it in my ear and that seems to help. Don't push the Q-tip too far, you could damage your eardrum. Just dab it in a little. You may hear a bubbling sound, that's the peroxide dissolving the ear wax. Also, it sounds like you may have gotten water in that ear. A good way to get rid of that is to lie on your side of the affected ear, overnight preferably. Usually it will drain and your hearing will return to normal. I've had this happen. estebanalejo	I had the same problem some weeks ago and the solution is going to hospital and get your ear uncovered by introducing warm water into your ear canal with the help of an special syringe, the hospital tech will get water with some force to uncover your ear. K S	try "heavy Mineral Oil USP" something similar happened to my friend and she couldn't hear very well because wax was stuck in her ears. The doc said to put like a drop in the ear that had the wax like 3 times a week. Like bend your head and put the oil in with a dropper, wait till it goes into your ear and then straighten your head. slowly, very slowly, it will get better, but if you want fast relief you should ask your doctor. always safer. or a pharmacist would know, when you buy the Mineral Oil.
