your wait constantly goes up and down, depending on whether you've eaten, whether you've relieved yourself, and many other things. while it stays reletively constant, for it to go up and down a couple of pounds is normal. it takes more than a day for a permanent change to occur in your weight.

Of course you are going to weigh more at night cause you ate that day right? And the next day it will have been digested so you won't weigh as much, very possible!

Yes it is! Certain eating programs can make you lose up to 5 pounds in a day, such as the Micheal Thurmond program. You must have eaten what your body was asking for, and with excersize lost a great amount of weight in a day.
Its great to eat better, but remember not to starve yourself while experimenting with eating programs- nutrition is key!
Glad it happened over all! =D
You have a good one,
Skyler

It is most likely water and stool weight that you've lost in a day. You cannot maintain losing that much weight on a daily basis, as nice as it may be :)
But congratulations on starting a new lifestyle. Keep exercising and eating properly and you will be on your way to a healthy body :)

It may have been a combination of water weight loss and using a spring scale. I'm assuming you're using a spring scale if you get that much of a difference. Usually only athletes in the middle of heavy training will lose that much weight in a day, and since your story includes walking as exercise, I don't think that is the case, although 1-2 pounds is possibly more accurate.
In my case, I tend to fluctuate in a 7 pound range over the course of a day or two, dependent on water weight loss and calorie intake. Low calories for a day combined with bathroom visits and sleep can lead to a much lower weight very quickly, but that can definitely turn unhealthy really fast. Make sure you don't eat less than you need to stay healthy!

you probably had a large bowel movement and the water cleaned you out. Also, the walking may have made you sweat a lot. Do you exercise a lot on the norm? If not, this could have done it, but its probably from a large bowel movement. The average person has 5-22 pounds of compacted fecal matter in their bowel, so if you went, this could have done it.

ye, its probably because u had less food, water, fecies, etc. on your body than before.. notice how after you eat your 2-5 pounds larger than before, its not from loosing the pounds from working out but from other things like food, weighyourself in the mornings after you pee/poo so you should get the true weight

Have you ever watched the show bigest loser? The first couple weeks you are going to have lots of weight loss then your body is going to not loose any and it will be tough becuase your body will be trying to save your fat. Keep it up and my advice is to cut out sugars and white flour.

its best to weigh at same time every day, we to get acurate results of weight loss.
the difference could be due to time of day, clothing, and wether you went to the bathroom recently. it would be unhealthy and almost impossible to lose 4 lbs in 1 day.

Your weight can fluctuate up to 6 pounds every day. That's why it's not good to weigh yourself every day.

That is very possible. It's called fluctuation. Everyone's weight fluctuates a few pounds in the matter of a day. I doubt the diet is what caused this 4lb. loss, sorry to lower your hopes. lol Most of the weight you lost was probably water weight, by the way.

everyone weight fluctuates 3-8 lbs daily depending on what you have eaten or drank and of course how much you have "eliminated" from your body through urine and feces.
