i think you will tone up more than you will "loose weight" ... if you want to help loose weight than don't eat after 6:30pm... it will help.

Yup, it'll help a lot.
Like the others have said, you'll need to watch your calories too. I'd recommend a good calorie counter... sparkpeople.com has a nice one. You type in your age/height/weight etc and it'll make a custom calorie plan for you.. you then enter EVERYTHING you eat every day and you'll get any idea of how many calories you are eating vs how many you should be eating.
It's all free too :)
By counting my calories and doing some moderate exercise (mainly walking) I've lost 50lbs since the first of this year! :)

Tremendously. Running is even better, Like a slow jog. Not extreme running/jogging, just a slow well paced jog.

You'll have a lot of benefits from walking and yes, will help you lose weight if you keep your caloric intake the same as before and dont reduce your other activities. If you're thinking you might want to, DO IT. You'll enjoy results no matter what.

2) you walk briskly especially swinging your arms

you'll really need to walk at a fast pace, you'll want to get your heart rate up, a FAST walk or a slow jog might be best

Help is the key word. Yes it will help, but unless you diet, then it probably won't do much. Make sure to eat sensibly. Do that AND walk, and you're on your way to a healthier you.

it'll only help if you also change your eating habits.
cuz if you exercise (doesnt matter what) and you eat poorly, it'll basically balance out. you'll probably just maintain your current weight.

As long as you don't "reward" yourself with bad food afterward, yes.
People who lose weight just through dieting are at greater risk of still having "visceral" fat - fat that's in among the organs - and that puts you at risk for heart disease and other fat-associated ailments even if you look thin.

any amount of exercise will help you lose or regulate your weight, but it must be combined with a calories consious meal plan... excercising burns a certain amount of cals, and if you don't eat those cals back, you end up with more cals burned than consumed (adding in your basal cal count) and you lose weight.
i'd recommend calories watching on: http://www.fitday.com/
