Are you crash dieting? If your body is used to less than this it's not healthy! no you won't gain weight! You're starving yourself and your body is going to start eating itself to satisfy the hunger you are leaving it with by eating so little.

You probably won't gain that much weight if your naturally weigh 102 pounds. Since, your trying to gain weight first begin calculating your calorie intake and increase by 100 each day. Increase 200 if you must because the food you listed above is very little. You must talk to your doctor and a diet specialist to compare what they think.
You must eat more. Eat more veggies and meat.
I recommend that you try running and swimming to gain muscle.

My flatmates (who are studying Medicine ;-)) once told me that in order for a person to gain weight, all that is necessary is to eat TOO MUCH of a balanced diet.
Try using Gyminee? It will help you keep track of what your nutrition and help you to set a goal that you want to achieve. Including wanting to gain weight if you like!

You do sound very underweight love for your height, its not enough food that you ate for one day! You need to eat small, and regular if you can, and get used to eating more food on a daily basis, by the sounds of it you seem to do a lot of exercise normally so whatever you eat, you will burn off. So you can afford to eat even more than us lot. There is no magic overnight cure to putting on some weight (to please your mum!) you have to start thinking a different way, and realise that you ARE underweight and to remain healthy, you simply need to take in more calories than you have been. Nobodys asking you to eat huge meals 3 times a day, just lots of snacks if you prefer, but nutritious snacks! Im 5ft 6in and 9st which is about right for me and I eat quite a lot and Im maintaining this weight, I also cycle a fair bit, so my weight is balanced. I probably eat triple what you ate today but I dont put on or lose any weight cos its all balanced right. If you continue to eat so little you seriously will become ill, your periods will stop and you will probably get osteoporosis, this probably doesnt mean anything to you right now, but when youre a little older you ll wish you had eaten more! Sorry to sound like your mother but I hope this has helped you.

Make sure that you are eating at least 3 times a day. If you want to gain weight, then make sure that you eat lots of protein (meat, cheeze, eggs) and lots of carbs, but try to avoid things that are high in sugar. Try eating more bread, pasta, rice, etc.
Good luck.

102 with the height of 5'9 is not over weight, it's not even close to being fat.
Sometimes your body feel like eating more than it usually does, so it's fine if you eat too much for the past one week since it's break. You'll get back to where you were after the break.
And yes, you might gain some weight but it'll drop down as soon as you get back to your work-out.

You need a higher calorie intake than you are burning off to gain weight. If that's all you had, then it's not enough. You need about 2000 calories a day, more if you're exercising heavily. So, either eat more or workout less.

bagels are too processed and bad for you. Substitute 2-3 servings of oatmeal.
Gaining QUALITY weight is a slow process. You always need to add PROGRESSIVE RESISTANCE to your workouts to force adaptation and enough calories to help the body grow w/o over-doing. If you overdo it with the calories, a Michellin gut is guaranteed.

I dont think one day of eating this (sounds good) will make you gain weight as long as you dont make a habit of it.I think for your height you could gain a little weight and you would look fine

Its a lot of chocolate.
But where is the nutrition in that diet?
Seriously, you need to eat proper meals - carbs, fibre, protein, fruit, veg, etc etc.
Don't you get hungry even though your body may be use to the lack of food?
You should seek medical help. Good luck.

Is that ALL you had? Barely enough to keep you alive, and certainly no nutritional value. I suggest you consult a nutritionist

Try gaining weight by eating a little bit healthier. Such as eating loads of protein. Especially meats, just not red meats. You can also take a supplement usually taken by people trying to build muscle or gain weight for athletic or fitness purposes, it's Whey protein, it's natural, comes from the curd of milk. Eating things that are unhealthy will cause you to gain weight, but really bad for you, too much sugar, cholesterol, you don't want that. You can have a muffin or two, not three or four, and not everyday it great. Try baked chicken breasts, loads of protein, and healthy. Rice, beans, potatoes, stuff that may help you gain weight, a tad healthy at least.
