I know how you feel - Whatever you do walk away from the telly when the adverts are on, I used to find I was always peckish in the evenings and I couldnt understand why, then I noticed how many adverts were about food even if I wasnt conciously watching them my sub concious was soaking them in, next thing I knew I was snacking - with all the talk about obesity these days you would think they would ban all food advertising and encourage us not to think about food all day. good luck

DO AS I DID , HAVE BREAKFAST AND NOTHING ALL DAY TO DINNER AT ABOUT 4.30 , THE FIRST 6 MONTH'S ARE VERY HARD , BUT YOU GET USED TO IT , AND I NEVER EXERCISE , YOU COULD IF YOU WISH HAVE TO PLAIN BISCUIT'S FOR LUNCH AT THE START , ONLY CHECK YOUR WEIGHT ONCE A WEEK AND IN THE MORNING

Its mostly up to your metabolism AND your state of mind.
I only can lose much weight when my life is in turmoil.
Had 4 babies, lost the weight, gained the weight.
When my life got easy, I gained, when it was hard, I lost.
Maybe u try too hard and maybe u are just right the way you r!

Hi pal,
It is hard, but its will power also... Just forget about eating crisps, chocolate, and all those bad bad foods, and take a healty option, then do a few excersizes a day (I recommend walking) and within a few weeks time, you will notice a difference.
I go to the gym twice a week. I do weights in the swimming pool... yes! And you will be surprized how much that strenghens the arms.
Mcdonalds, Burger King have a lot to answer for!
Go on the Weetabix challenge for two weeks (Weetabix, and perhaps a yogurt, and fruit) and have a healthy BUT small snack at lunch, and a main meal at night... try it for two weeks and if you go for it, email me and let me know how you get on.

Because you digest food faster than you can sweat it out. Try stopping all sugar intakes and,, yes working out.. I seen that work better than other diets.

burning off the fat cells in your body is twice as hard as letting them build up. believe me, i used to weight 300 pounds, i weight 225 now. you know how i lost the weight? eating right, the right food, the right time of day, and went for a walk every once in awhile. that's it, so just watch when you eat and how much you eat cause you can eat whatever it is you want, as long as its in moderation.

Because losing weight is not a diet.. its a change in lifestyle.
Also, we must make time for the gym and time to shop for the right food.. everything is about planning...
If you were at home all the time you would lose weight faster because you would have time to dedicate to just that...
Its hard to juggle dieting and your regular schedule.

Its hard for lots of reasons. Firstly, it's all about habit. You get used to eating a certain way, and it's hard to change. Just like biting your nails, tapping your foot, or saying "like" or "you know," all the time. If you give yourself time, and work at it, your habits will change and it will get easier to not do the things youre so used to doing.
If you feel like you've been doing this, try drinking more water. We need at LEAST 8 glasses of water a day, more in the summer/when we sweat/exercise. Sometimes we feel "hungry" when we're really thirsty. When this is the case, we end up eating to satisfy this "hunger", and it never really goes away because we're thirsty all along.
Try drinking a glass of cold water down before and after every meal. When you feel like snacking, try drinking instead.
If you're not big on water, try crystal light, perrier, seltzer, stuff like that... avoid canned teas, since they can be high in sugar...and ofcourse, the whole caffeine thing O_O. If you love tea, drink it light and watch the sugar!!!!!! That has calories. For every cup of coffee you drink, (soda, too!) youll need to drink extra water.
One last thing before i shut up! Don't eat it if you don't want it, and, be prepared to continue to live this way (though not as strictly as you do when you're LOSING weight) once you've gotten all the stubborn pounds off...
If you can't see yourself doing that, then i'd work on feeling comfortable being you, no matter what size you are :) Be healthy, yes, but be happy first.
Don't fuss about looking like "so and so" on the cover of god knows what, since they're all airbrushed anyway. :P
Guys don't realize it, but a confident, smart, COMFORTABLE girl is more attractive than any twiggy legged boob-less model. goodluck!

Its hard because refined carbs are addicting and actually give the brain stimulants and pleasure but not that great for your body try switching ur bad carbs (which is what we eat most ) with whole grains !
