Why do girls worry about their weight, while boys don't care?

arch_scheme	Girls often worry about their weight because they think guys won't like them. IN FACT... most guys love a bit of hip and boob to grab onto. It's other girls who can be really nasty and bitchy about those love handles... Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

scubalady01	I have a son at University and young guys DO care .. reason: no girl wants to date a fat guy, unless he's rich and then you got a gold digger on your hands and guys don't like it when they know that the girl they're with is just after the dosh.. cianmarc	Boys do care, a lot in the opposite way. boys worry about putting on weight quite often, not wanting to be puny. some worry about being fat as much as any girl. in this society of perfect images and zero tolerance i think we are all guilty of having a little dysmorphia now and again. the_other_gal	cos they have been taught from a young age that they have to look perfect, whilst men havent girls magazines are full of skinny skinny beautiful girls, so we assume that to be beautiful we have to be skinny skinny ultra skinny...guys mags arent full of super skinny guys...in fact they are full of super skinny girls too! and some guys do care, by the same token some girls dont! As You Like It	men are allowed to be big, they are supposed to be bigger than women. Women have to be more careful with their weight naturally because we have an extra layer of fat, and are more prone to put on weight.
