 Is it healthy to go one week eating nothing but fruits and vegetables.?

Decipline! Buy outfit one size smaller and tell yourself you want to fit into it in 7-10 days; then work towards achieving it. I swim every morning for 30 laps and again 30 laps in the eveningl. It takes alot of commitment but once it's part of your daily regime, you won't feel the strain. You will also need to eat moderately (eat until you're not hungry). Serve your foods on a smaller plate instead of big plate. This plays tricks on your mind.

Start small...and build up to it. You'll feel good about yourself after you do it. That's what motivates me...the feeling of accomplishment. Best of luck!

If you are over sized then look at yourself. If you are a boy.... girls should motivate you to exercise. If you are a gay boy look at some guys six pack. If you are a girl ( don't you want a guy). If you are lesbian look at the pussycat dolls body.

P.S. I really like biking with some really good music on a cycle path ( flat land is a plus! ) when you can go for miles. It makes me feel more powerful than just running or doing press ups because of the speed ( trust me i got a computer attached to my bike that detects what speed i'm going at - I got up to 17mph and was able to go about the same speed as an old lady in a car beside me ) and then i had to get off my bike to cross a really busy road and oh my god i suddenly thought walking was snails pace!!!!

my 4 year old son motivates me !!! he certainly keeps me active ! other than that, all i can suggest is that u sign up for some kind of exercise class - if u've paid for it, u will be more likely to go coz u won't want to wast your money... also, think about the up coming summer months - u will want to feel comfortable in summer clothes - that always motivates me to lose those extra pounds i've gained over winter....

If you haven't started exercising or haven't done it in a while, start slowly....

The things that motivate me:

music helps a lot!
going to a fun class - like cycle, turbo kick, kickboxing
feeling great post exercise

Talk a friend or loved one to go the gym or start a sport with you. I find it a lot easier if I have someone to go with. My friend and I motivate each other.
