I had some of the Thai instant noodle dinners
they looked like rice noodles
there can't be too much too them
they are the add water
there looks like about 3 tblespoons of rice noodles
then the flavor comes from the spices / Ginger / whatever
they puff up to fill the bowl
really there can't be much in the ones I tried but they are very satisfying, delicious and I did not want anything else too eat all afternoon
they are a small plastic container in a cardboard folded cover
sorry do not rem the brand name

I love grilled shrimp, rice, and broccolli for dinner after a nice salad. There are lots of calorie free condiments you can use to spice everything up i.e. Tabasco sauce, I can't believe it's not butter, etc....

Foods with fibre in them.
See what the fibre does is make your stomache expand thus making you feel full.
Fibre is also good for the digestive system.
Try bran and whole grain products.

food with a lot of fiber (veggies, fruit) or things with a lot of protein and not a lot of fats or bad fats. such as chicken, cottage cheese and etc.
i also take a fiber Supplement like Metamucil because its only 20 calories, 5 g of fiber and low carb/sugar and i always feel pretty full afterwards.
also drink lots of water. increasing ur fiber intake will make u bloated for awhile until ur body adjust and u could get constipated. if u drink water it will help ur body to absorb it, regulate it and water it helps u feel full

ALL food will eventually lead to weight gain if you eat an excess amount...obviously :p

but your best bet is starch (usually rather fattening when ate in excess), low-fat soup, tuna, fruits and some veggies, and lean meat.

anything with protein, like protein bars, or shakes, or meat. those little granola bars dont seem like they would fill you up, but what you do is eat one or two, and wait for 20 minutes while your body digests, you will notice that you arent hungry anymore.

all foods that have matter can make you gain wieght!
What you need to do is burn the same amount of calories you eat to stay the same wieght
if you want to loose wieght you have to burn more than you eat
if you want to gain you have to eat more than you burn

When I am feeling how you are I make a small snack:
Eggplant "Panini"
Take half a slice of white bread and cut in half
Add two slices of thinly cut eggplant which are cooked on a frying pan without breadcrumbs - use flour and egg instead and cook until slightly grilled
Now add a few small pieces of Arugala or Baby spinach.
And one slice of thin fresh mozzarella.
Put your sandwich together and put it in a sandwich press, in house grill, or panini machine. It presses the sandwich tightly together and melts the cheese.
It is small, but filling and doesn't make me feel bloated.
I feel content because I have just eaten half a sandwich and it had two
healthy veggies in it! = D AND it only took me 5 minutes to make!

lots of green stuff!!!

for example, it takes more calories to digest Celery than there are calories in Celery. the water that is in the greens you eat will fill you up and make you feel full, and you can eat as much as you want because there are hardly any calories in lettuce, Celery, brocolli, etc...

fruits aren't bad for you, but too much fruit can be. they have a lot of natural sugars. i'd say one piece of fruit a day would be fine.

Vegetables. It's no secret. I like the broccolli myself, but there are many more options, and they mostly have good vitamins and minerals. Oh, spinach is excellent, too. Iceberg lettuce is pretty worthless, though.
