rg_econg	A hike--- i was on vacation and i went to a mountain province to visit my family`s farm, but on my way it started to rain & the provincial road was not concrete yet just recently built, when it rains the road must be close, & i cannot return home because the last trip bus just left. Our farm is 20 Kl far by walk. I was alone & carrying all the stuff on my back pack & other bags, i walked all the way, passing 3 rivers by boat & then i had to stop in a hat after almost 18 Kl that was almost 12am, i was so tired & hungry i asked somebody on the hat for drinlks, good thing they know my family, they offer to send me in the farm with their horse after... I never walk that far ever, i mostly grew up in the city & my legs were aching, wet & hungry, can u imagine the ups & downs of the valley?with a matching rain? I was so tired that i just stayed in bed for almost 5 days with flue & fever. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

Songbird	I've had many extremely tired days, but perhaps I was the most tired when I became so ill with fibromyalgia that I literally could not function. I had just done my regular secretarial job that day, but there were a lot of sleepless nights that came before it. A very close second would be when my father had a stroke and we had to clear out house, garage and storage barn in preparation for an auction. The garage and barn were full, back to front and top to bottom. It was an exhausting task. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

anna	Travelled from Chicago to Spain...between waiting and flying and all the rest of it I was up for about 36 hrs. I'm the sort that can't sleep on a flight (can't sleep sitting up!) so by the time I got home I had reached the point where being awake is just like crashing...and crashing is just like being awake. It was physically painful to be awake and have to hear noises, see things, etc. I finally took some sleeping pills and slept for 17 hours straight. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

Katyana	Right now: I got three hours' sleep last night and four the night before. I've done nothing different, but my family is making me feel very stressed right now, so I lie in bed and think about it too much. It feels like a really bad hangover, and I can't concentrate. I also miss a lot of details and don't pay attention when I drive. It's not good physically either: free radicals can't be neutralized as easily when we don't get enough sleep. jack	It is going back a few years to when I was in the army. We were on manoeuvres in Germany. I hadn't had full sleep for nearly 3 days. One night, one of my mates & I were ordered to go the entrance of our camp & wait for a lorry to come with supplies. Well, when we arrived at the entrance, my mate said he was going to have a cigarette. I sat against a tree & waited for him to return. The next thing I knew, My Sgt Major bellowed in my ear! I had dropped off to sleep!!!!!! I didn't face his wrath though, it was my mate who had nipped off for a ciggie. My Sgt Major bollocked him for not staying with me, as I then wouldn't have fallen asleep!!!! So I got away with that one! Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

still waiting	When I was pregnant, every day was "I've never been so tired in my life". Especially at the end. But I guess when your body is supporting another life, that happens. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

joos100	I was the most tired when I skipped 1 night sleep... I went to a 2-day LAN party... (better LAN parties are 3 days, so you can also sleep a bit). A 2 day LAN party is too fast over... so it is a waist to sleep in the night. I got very cold in the afternoon after the sleepless night. And when I was in the car (my father picked me up) all the lights were too much... and when I was at home I sat down and I felt super tired (it was early in the evening). Paul H	After a full day at the university I found out that I had to walk home with about 20 pounds of books on my back. It was an 11 mile hike, and I don't think I had gotten any sleep the night before. When I got inside my apartment I went to directly to the floor and slept there for hours. scary shari	When I was a college student, I sometimes went to my classes even if I was sick. I know that wasn't healthy for my body, and it wasn't considerate towards those around me either, since I probably exposed them to whatever virus I was sick with. (Sorry everyone!) Anyway, one time I went to classes with the flu, except I didn't know how bad it was at the time. By the time I was done with my first class of the day, I could tell I had a high fever, my body ached and I felt like sh*t warmed over. :( So I decided to go home. However, my car was parked quite a distance away in the parking garage, and the WALK to that garage felt like a marathon to me!! Between being really sick, and wearing a heavy backpack, I really didn't know HOW I'd ever make it, because I felt so unbareably tired. (Even without the backpack, it would have been awful, but the added weight just about killed me). By the time I got to my car, I was so exhausted that I honestly didn't even feel like I could drive my car! april	got up at 5:00am took a shower started the coffee, started a load of clothes, stared breafast for my family, woke them up, started another load of clothes, folded the last load that i left in the dryer from the night befor, wash dishes from brefast, fixed there luch for school, fixed my self for work, started supper in the crock pot for that night, watered the flowers befor i left for taking my family to school then went straight to work by 8:00am. yea!!!!!!!!! by the way i am really happy, and i do love my family...... Euphojim	It was the summer I left school and got a job in a pea canning factory 5 miles from home. I cycled to work in the morning, leaving home at 6.30 am and did not get back home until 10.30 pm at night - it was 7 days a week. My mum always had a meal ready for me when I got home - one night as I was eating my dinner I fell asleep - face first on the plate. Was this answer helpful to you? Yes / No

nick_bee_1	It was finishing my dissertation for university. I had not slept for 3 days and nights, continually on the computer typing it up. I was taking pro-plus and spoonfuls of sugar. By the end on it (and during the last day) i was physically shaking, eyes on stalks, hallucinating that I was copying someone else because I was thinking about things over and over again., and just in pain from sitting at the computer. I did however work out 2 possible reasons to the meaning of live in that time as well which was random. That was a couple of years ago and I had to sleep for nearly 2 days to recover. A word to all students DO NOT LEAVE LARGE BITS OF COURSEWORK TO THE VERY END TO WRITE. But I did get a good mark for a few days of stress instead of prolonging it. Was this answer helpful to you?
