dieting doesn't address the cravings. Also, dieting deprives you of nutrients that your body needs to function properly. What you need is a nutritional cleanse. To see more go to:www.grangermd.isagenix.com and click on "isavideos" on the top left hand corner. Also, watch the video on the bottom left entitled " Are you toxic?"
Nutritional cleansing addresses cravings, cleanses the body of toxins and has lasting weight loss results.

Don't Diet.....change your attitude about food!! We are suppose to enjoy it you know. Try to think more in terms of moderation eat more vegetables and proteins. Eat in small portions once in a while the sugary junk that we all love!! Do some type of exercise every day and write it down I swear that really helps to write down your accomplishments. What you did hours ago has no bearing now!!! You can begin now why wait til the morning.... :) Good Luck Happy New Year

Same for me, dont beat yourself up, its only the start and at least you tried. Set a smaller goal, dont set oneself up to let oneself down, know who you are and except it, thats the first stage of moving forward. Find you rather than doing it for the others. Anyway drink more water and raw vegies chopped up with olive oil, fruit, salids, stay away from fast food and you will be flying to the moon in a few days with so much energy. Thats the answer, so they say, all we have to do is have the guts to do it. Good luck, Robbie

- Just by you saying you can't is stopping you.
You have to belive in yourself.
Tell yourself you can and you will!
- And eat those chocolates if you like.
Just eat healthy food to balance it out.
Eat more fruit and low fat yogurts when all you christmas chocolates are gone.
- Its new years day.
Not many places are open.
And don't just go to the Gym when you feel like it.
Set day of the week when you are free to go and will be able to continue to go on those days.
But remember not to over do it only two hours a week
and vary the exercise and warm up before you start.
- Try cutting out some carbohydrates but not all together.
- Eat healthy potions of food but try eating green veggies with those meals
- Every once in a while treat yourself don't go cold turkey!
- Drink more water too!
- And enjoy it.
If you don't enjoy it then you won't want to do it!
I hope it all works out for you,
Good luck!

You just have to resist the temptation! Keep reminding yourself when your getting ready to eat something you shouldnt that you dont need it! Ask yourself am i really hungry? Or do i just feel like im hungry? And if you are going to pig out a LITTLE bit on something atleast make sure its as healthy as can be!

Don't set your mind on a 'resolution'. Tomorrow is a new day.
Heck, the day after tomorrow is a new day.
You still have tonight, too. Go for a run around your neighborhood...

have a positive attitude
the reason you can't diet is because you're telling yourself you can't diet
try the next day
hang in there because this resolution will take time

welll its a new year. so that really shouldnt count... why dont you look at it like this. make a promise to yourself if youre going to indulge, indugle a little or;for every indulgement [guilty pleasure] you work it off. and try something equally yummy that wont give you as much sugar, fat, etc. EXAMPLE: instead of chomping on a bag of skittles for a minute, try a sucking on a jolly rancher for a minute. but dont go fat free, because your brain needs healthy amounts of fat to keep you from being frustrated or stressed. its a new year so relax! p.s. you've got to stick to it and have a hecka lot of willpower if you want what you want

So you messed up ONE day. Big deal. You gained weight one bad habit at a time, you'll need time to make good habits.
You must know someone else who is trying to loose weight- why not use the buddy system? You can meet and/or talk for a few minutes a day, plan work outs together, maybe even shop for groceries together. You'll be MUCH less likely to cheat if you know some one is going to find out, and if you do cheat, your buddy can push you back on track.
You'll have accountability, support, and a little friendly competition.

well, it's not down the drain. You messed up, everyone messes up--tomorrow is a new day.
And I am in the same boat where it seemd that I just "cant diet" but its a matter of deciding that you want to lose weight more than you want to eat that pie. It's really an internal acknowledgment and change that has to happen. I wish you the best of luck.
But don't be so hard on yourself--that will help too, have realistic goals. Like I said, we all mess up just pick it up tomorrow, or the next meal even!

I went from 296 to 250 in about 6 and 1/2 months.
Following mom's death, depression, and the meds doc put me on, put a lot of weight on. I began walking every day for no less than 45 minutes at a time. I stopped drinking soda, and cut the breads and pasta intake by half. Instead of having a ham and cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomato, I would have a salad with a slice of ham and cheese.
What it really comes down to is patience though. Patience with yourself mostly. If you mess up on Monday, start again on Tuesday. Don't get down on yourself for every little flub you make.
Good luck to you!

Essentially it's a lack of self control. Learn to control your eating, and you'll learn to have a better diet.

Dont give up so fast! Just cz you ate some bad things doesnt mean you should stop! Continue to eat good for the rest of the day and try to work out at home. Tomorrow you can officially start over again.
Most diets dont work because you give up so keep going! Its just a road block not a dead end!

you are looking and using any excuse. You could have gone walking or something to make an effort, however, you have to retrain yourself, don't set yourself up for failure. Baby steps. as long as those steps progress to giant steps.

That is fine! It is the holidays anyway! I have this problem. I like to binge out on food sometimes. However, the best way to lose weight is to exercise. Even if it is just a little. I like to turn on the radio and dance with my son. We both have blast doing it, and it teaches him not to care what others think.
