if it will motivate you, why not? you're not just doing it for him, but for your own good... guys can come & go... they will, in large numbers, if you're fit & yummy...

No, but you are worth losing weight for. If you are over weight, it is the best thing for yourself to get down to a healthier level. Being over weight leads to so many health problems and many that wouldn't be very far down the road.
Also keep in mind that if you are not "over weight", but he thinks you are, then he is a loser and you're not worth his time.

The politically correct thing to say is "no no, of course not, he should like you for who you are" etc and of course that's true, but I say "why not?" People do all sorts of things to try to make themselves more appealing to others, that's just natural.
I think the reason why the weight issue is such a contentious one is because there is so much pressure placed on people (particularly women) by the media in that regard. If that's the reason behind why you want to lose weight, or if you think he can't look past that and see any of your other positive qualities then yeah, it's not worth it. But if you're genuinely interested in the guy and you want to lose weight to feel good about yourself and maybe feel a bit more confident around him and others then I say go for it.

No, Never! The only reason anyone should loose weight should be for themselves and only for themselves! A healthy relationship relies on each person loving the other completley and absolutley for who they are weight and all!!!!!

i don't think a guy is worth losing weight for more doing it for your own health. think healthy about yourself, love yourself, and get motivated for you and not a guy.

If you are losing weight for any reason other than that you want to for yourself, so that you are healthier, you probably won't be able to stick with it over the long haul.

No! If the guy doesn't love you the way you are then walk away, he's not worth it. Now if you are unhappy with the way you are that's another story. If you want to lose wieght do it for you, never for someone else!!! Best wishes.

No. But Your heatlh is worth the lost. You lose weight because YOU want to. If any guy wants you to, he doesn't like you for the right reasons, big or small he is going to always want more from you. Do it for YOU and YOU only.

it doesn't matter what i tell you....it's only advice.......the final decision would, ultimately, be yours.
"be yourself. especially do not feign affection. neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is perennial as the grass."
i couldn't have said it better, myself. this is an excerpt from the "desiderata", available on line. check it out and see if you get anything from it.

U loose it for urself and not for the guy.
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.
Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.
