Ok well im 13 years old and im 5 foot 3 and 128 pounds. My mom think im gonna crash my mutabilism. Ok i exercise about 20 min a day. And i dont eat like pizza, french fries ect and my mom keeps freaking out cuz i dont want to eat fatining foods cuz i want to lose weight. Then when she makes me eat i feel bad. So what should i do? First, I guess your weight is normal at your age. But your mom knows best so you have to follow her but just eat enough or else it will be harder to lose weight when you get older. Hope this helps. God bless!

The first thing that you should consider is your nutrition. Make sure that you are eating foods that provide you with the proper nutrients. Your body needs a certain amount of fat. The main fat that you want to avoid is trans fats. When your mom makes you eat, instead of making yourself feel bad about it, make an effort to exercise longer each day. In fact, you should really exercise 30 minutes when you do exercise. Include some other activities like walking, swimming or any other physical sport.

At 5'3 you are at a good weight. At 13, it is important to eat a healthy diet. If you are not eating three healthy meals a day, then you are not giving your body the nutrition it needs to grow. When you skip meals, you are actually more likely to gain eight because your body starts to slow down in order to conserve energy. If you are concerned about weight (which you shouldn't be at 128 lbs) then make better food choices. Do NOT eliminate meals.

it sounds to be liek your perfect for your age, just keep excersising and eating properly and as you get older and a more womenl;y body and taller your weight will destribute more evenly. Also with your age your metabalisom is so high that fast food every now and again isn't going to do a thing to you. Although it is a good idea to practice good eating habits early on.

You don't have to feel bad when you eat food. It is ok to have 1 or 2 pieces of pizza but have some salad for raw veggies with it. If you get hungry, have a boullion cube with some hot water, or some raw vegetables or fruit. Try to stick to food with 0 trans fat.
Try to excercise, walk around the block or ride your bike after meals.
Explain to your mom before she cooks a meal that you are trying to make healthy choices not stop eating. I'm sure she will understand, if not keep telling her until she does.
Most of all , don't crash diet or stop eating, just eat smaller portions. It's good to snack between meals, a fruit or vegetable or boullion soup. Drink lots of water.
Stick with it and good luck!

It is very normal at your age to start having struggles with your mom about what you will and won't eat. This will probably be an issue for a while, maybe you can find ways to get through this without too much struggle between you. If you fee bad when you eat it might be about what you just ate, or it may be your struggle with food is getting out of hand. Sit down and make a plan, what you will and won't eat, and how much, and talk it over with your mom. If th two of you can't agree, maybe ask your mom to go to a dr with you to look at your plan and get a proffessional opinion on what is healthy for you.

From what you have said, your mom is way off. However, I am only going on what you wrote. Here's the key - mom would even agree with me on this - everything in moderation. It's great that you exercise everyday! It's a great habit to start so young. Eating healthy is important as well. Pizza isn't great for you, we all know that. However, indulge yourself (reward) once in awhile, just don't make burgers, fries, and pizza a daily routine. Everything in Moderation - that means greasy foods, exercise, and the portion sizes you eat.
Go to McDonald's occasionally with your friends - but get a cheese burger and stick to small coke and fries. You can enjoy that - just keep the portion small and the visits to a minimum.

You're not THAT underweight. You should be around 128-133lbs. 7 lbs does look a little healther on a younger girl...
See... at your age, if you dont eat cheeses, and protien and milk, which are fattening (if youdont work them off) you wont grow!
You wont get the right shape that you want either.
Your breast size, your hip size, or your butt size, will be much smaller when you get older, if you are underweight at this time.
why? your not getting the proper nutrients you need for your body, and your not metabolizing the right foods.
at your age its okay to eat fattening foods... i mean, they seem fattening but they arent' really, if your active, its perfectly fine.
Pizza, is a good source of cheese, *Calcium, tomato (vitamin C), and carbs, that you need to have energy. again not in excess!!!
You should eat things like that, but not in excess. Its okay to eat any foods you want, just dont eat alot of those foods, or consume them all the time, you have to mix them up with more healthy foods. for example, i'll eat two slices of pizza with the works, with some water, or Green Tea.
As long as you burn the extra calories you put into your body you wont gain the bad weight. You'll gain good weight, like muscle, and muscle tissue (organ tissue, like for your breast size).
You're too young to diet, drinking any diet sodas, will ruin your body, the artificial sweetners in diet food is really unhealthy, and has links to some cancers.
If you still decide NOT to eat the foods, you should go on vitamins, or daily suppliments, although i dont recomend them at your age.
Having a healthy diet is good, but you dont need to be extreme at your age. Eating a little more because you are so young is perfectly fine. again, if you eat, dont just sit around, walk, or hang out with your friends. You wont even feel the food you ate!
Chicken aka white meat is good for your, Beef, is good for you, cheese, and dairy products are PERFECT for you at this time, whole milk is very healthy for your age, for growth.
Breads, and grains are Great, DO NOT EVER EVER EVER EVER go on a low carb diet at your age.
Carbohydrates are the KEY to giving your body the energy you need to learn, move, excersize, it's also a KEY essential in your brain. The Carb diet is for older peopel who dont mind memory loss, as long as they have a great body. :)

I think you should start eating some fatty foods. It helps with the cycle. It sounds like the start of a eating disorder to me. Jus eat smart, some fatty foods are ok and keep up the exercise and you should be fine. You sound about at the right weight.

Ask if she'd provide some fruits, or a few vegatables for you to snack on, in place of a full dinner each night, if YOU promise to eat a good breakfast each day. (remembering that you will burn off breakfast calories during the day), OR, do some research, and give her some actual facts supporting your belief that your metabolism is indestructable, .... - and then you can move in with whichever best (so called) friend told you that you need a diet at an age when your "metabolism" is trying to support the creation of some hips, and a set of boobs...

You weight is healthy for your age and height. I wouldn't suggest losing weight, unless you have fat in unwanted areas, stomach, arms, legs, etc. I don't know much about metabolisms, but excercising daily, and not eating fattening foods, your doin alright. Those foods (pizza, fries, sodas) shouldn't be eaten anyway.. All i can really say is, and you probaly already know this, eat veggies, fruits, drink water, monitor proportions.. I would stick to yoru diet, but if your weight gets too low, I'd cut back, but you seem fine.

Tell you Mom you want to eat healthy and mean it. Exercising is great.If you feel you need to lose a few pounds do so, but let your mom in on it. . When she sees you are being mature by eating 3 to six smalller meals and not into crash dieting , starvation or buliimia, im sure she'll help you.

Talk to your mom. Tell her that you want to stay beautiful, and not live an unhealthy life. Explain to her that you're not trying to become a toothpick, just stay at 128. Your thirteen, you'll grow more trust me....but you don't need to gain anymore weight.
The best advice I can give is talk to your mom, tell her how you feel and hope for the best. Don't tell her you want to diet and loose weight, tell her you want to eat healthy and stay healthy!

Don't starve yourself, make sure to eat a big, good breakfast (not eating breakfast will make it HARDER to lose weight).
Don't listen to your mom about pizza and fries. They are not good for you. You're on the right track about that stuff, especially the fries. They are loaded with trans fat. One thing though....don't try to eat a completely fat-free diet. Your body needs to have SOME fat, otherwise you won't be able to metabolize fat, and your body will try to store MORE fat.
It sounds like you have a healthy approach. More kids should try to eat healthy like you. Just don't go overboard about losing weight. Being healthy is more important than being thin. And a girl who is anorexically skinny is NOT attractive looking. A healthy girl is.
