You need to be very disciplined 6 out of 7 days a week
and consume a lot of water. Once a week you should give
yourself a break and treat yourself to a steak or ice cream
or something. (see the article I attached for details on
staying disciplined and scientific validation on "treating"
yourself once a week.)
Lastly, try putting a picture of an Olympic gold
medal on your fridge.

First of all you are 13, you dont need to be worrying about working out and dieting that much, a 1000 calorie diet is unhealthy. You should have about 2000 a day, plus 100 lbs is not healthy if you are 5'2 I am 5"3 and i weigh 117 so I know you dont need to be worrying about it.

i think your looking too much into it....i think your perfectly fine. dont worry about it your a fit young youthful individual .......i think studies and family should be your main goal right now, plus i think theres more important things to worry about then weight. think about your future a plan B for after physical activities and we all grow older and older and we should spend our times with things about how to help others around me as i would like for them to care or do for me. If you only think about your weight your just going to waste you young early teen youth on flaws....try to think about what you do have and what poor people, people who lost there family or third world countries who would love to be in your position,,,, live in the positive zone and if you run into a negative spot speak to your family, or counselor then last but least speak to your friends. because i believe the certain guidance from professional individuals who lived on earth longer and went what you went through and regret they wasted there years worrying about what they dont have or must get. Talk to someone wise and older , and is well educated individual who isn't rude. At schools they have free counseling and health teachers at any school would tell you what you need to know about life and health or just make an appointment to speak to the doctor and ask him all your questions , a professional doctor in a health care field would most likely help you most on health topics just make sure you pick a really nice sweet doctor who isn't rude.

Muscel wieghs more than fat first of all. Im 5"6 and im 13. And I wieght about 95 pounds. But I have a good Matabilism so I don't have to worry about gaining wieght because my body burns all the fat. For you I'd suggest to eat maybe like beans, turkey, or some low fat hot dogs for protein. You should also eat, carrots or some berries or other fruit that is low in calories. You should also run everyday and drink lots of water.

Why do you need to lose weight? 116 at 5'2" is perfectly normal, and if you work out 5 hours a day 5 days a week, it's mostly muscle anyway. Which means if you lose weight, you'll be losing muscle, and that's bad. Also, 1000 calories a day is low-- you should be eating about 1200; add a piece of fruit in as a snack. Stop concentrating on losing weight and concentrate on staying fit.

(e.g : like a bowl of cereal and an apple for breakfast; a salad and sandwich for lunch ; and like pasta and Garlic bread for dinner)
and try to resist the urge to eat while ur not hungry :)

You don't need to loose weight. Since you are active, and you work out, it is probably your muscles that way more not your "fat". You are growing, you aren't fully mature yet, it could be really dangerous for you to diet at this age. If it bother's you so much, why don't you see a doctor about it, and they can refer you to see a specialist, who could teach you the proper way to tone your body, not to loose weight. I mean haven't you heard of puberty. Your body will be changing a lot over the next few years.

You're just gaining muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat! Gymnastics is one of the most athletic things you could be doing, so no matter how much you eat, your metabolism is eating away your fat and turning it into muscle! Don't worry about your weight, but how healthy you are!

DON'T STOP EATING!!!!!!! since you work so much your body needs the fuel.....remeber that muscle is heavier than fat.....so by you being a gymnast you have a ton of muscle...at least gymnast who work as much as you say you do are super strong or close to it........don't worry about losing weight....if you are not chubby than you have nothing to worry about. :)

Is that even healthy? I thought a healthy woman needs like 2400 calories/day or something..... You probably have a lot of muscle mass seeing as you're an athlete. Muscle weighs more than fat, that's why people who start exercising often experience little change in weight, but do lose body fat and inches. Don't starve yourself, you'll do your bones and your mind damage if you do.
100lbs sounds like an unrealistsic goal for you.

Typically, its called an eating disorder when you just don't eat. Losing 16 pounds in 1 month when your already as small as you are is unrealistic. Not eating is not a healthy way to lose weight either, commonly trainers at the gym will tell their clients to eat a bunch (6ish) small meals a day. 1000 calories isn't healthy especially as your still growing, your body needs calories in order to support itself. Overall its unrealistic and unhealthy to try to acheive the goal your striving for

Don't stop eating! Sometimes not eating can add fat. If you eat the right foods at the right times of the day, it could help you lose weight OR just get you to be healthier. A really good website for this kind of stuff is Spark Teens.

um, hun, you've gotta eat.
sounds to me like you're perfectly healthy. If you work out and EAT HEALTHY you're gonna do fine. You're not overweight to begin with.
People who CAN go all day without eating are sick. They're called "anorexic" and it's a disease. You're body needs food/ nutrients to function normally. That's why it's so hard.
Starvation isn't the way to go. Just stay healthy, you're fine =] ♥

chances are that it's all muscle, hon. starving yourself wouldn't help you lose weight anyway. talk to your doctor and see if he/she can write out a healthy diet Plan for you. you shouldn't worry too much about your weight, as long as you're healthy. good luck.

That is actually normal and as long as you are healthy and fit. Not eating is even worse because when you finally do eat you will eat alot at once. Don't eat diet food because you will get hungry quicker than when you eat regular food. Also that isn't enough calories. Lastly it is probably mostly muscle. You'll be fine. If that advice isn't good go running when it is hot..ish out so you sweat more. The more you sweat the more weight you lose. Also drink a lot of water

You're a freaking MORON.
I would have thought after all the publicity of eating disorders, people would learn it's not healthy to restrict your diet like that.
You wanna know the reasons you can't lose weight?
Because-
1.) 1000 calories is not enough, and your body is going into starvation mode, which means hoarding your fat instead of burning it.
2.) You work out, and your weight is MUSCLE. You can't weigh 100 if you're working out and gaining muscle.
