Drink more water. Sometimes your brain makes you think your hungry and really just thirsty. Just drink a glass of water next time you get a craving. It will fill you up till next meal time. If not drink 2 glasses of water.

Oh!! Don't starve youself! Just listen. Studies have proven that people who have small meals or eat snacks all day seem to be more hungry at the end of the day. But people who eat 3 BIG meals a day go to bed witha afull stomach. Think about that. Good luck.

take a mint gum, i like dentyne ice winter frost, and start chewing that, and while doing so, get some cold water, and just start drinking non stop. change the gum when its lost its flavor and keep doing that, it tastes really good. umm you can also just drink a large glass, of 2% milk. also, water with ice and a few slices of lemon, really works too, it takes your mind away from the food, and it tastes really nice too. keep it up though.

I get those feelings too.
Did you just get onto the diet? If so, it might just be your body adjusting to the change in Caloric intake. Or, it might be that your not including enough fibre and protein in your diet, because fibre and protein keep you full, long. Also, Drink lotsa water, your need for Food maybe just your body crying out for water. And finally, if those food cravings just wont go, instead of pie, have an apple, or buy low-fat low-sugar desserts, such a Healthy Choice low-fat fudge bars, they taste just like a fudgsicle, but are way lower in Fat/Calorie/Sugar.

YOu need to eat more food and you need to divide it into 5 small meals a day. Eating more protein will help keep you fuller longer. You should not eat less than 1500 calories a day.

Try eating 5 small meals a day, not 3. Be sure to eat fresh vegetables, fruit, protein, whole grains, milk products and lots of water. Snacking is ok, but snack on high fibre snacks and raw almonds.

I know what you mean. Some things that can help but not totally eliminate your problem: drink water, eat lo cal veggies that are high in fiber to fill yourself up, make sure you are eating enough. If you are not eating enough your body might go into high stress mode and release all sorts of hormones that will actually make it very difficult to lose weight and cause you to crave carbs. Do aerobic exercise which is a natural appetite suppressant. Good luck and good health.

Why eat 3 small meals? Add a large salad with low cal dressing to the meal or between meals-very low cal and very good for you. Snack on raw veg's when hungry, and then you will eat only when really hungry vs wanting to eat things we just want to eat. Good Luck!! Exercises always help full also..

The recommended diet is about 7 small meals a day. You should try to get all the food groups in there as well so you can better provide your body with the vitamins and minerals it needs to function properly. If you're hungry, do not starve yourself, that is your body telling you it needs energy. But if your "hunger" are just cravings, then try to hold back a little. Also, if you are just starting to diet, it's normal to feel hungry after these new portioned meals because you are so used to eating more food at one sitting, so eventually your body will get used to the new portions and you won't feel as hungry. The seven meals a day are supposed to speed up your metabolism, cramming all the foods in just three meals actually slows down your metabolism which will turn the extra calories into fat, whereas seven meals evenly distributed, will result in less being stored as fat.
Good luck! =]

The problem is you're eating ONLY three small meals a day, when you should be eating five or six a day. By eating smaller meals more frequently (not just 3 times a day) you'll increase your metabolic rate and remain "full" throughout the day. You can also add in fruits or granola bars which can help sustain you.

You are better off eating 6 small things a day. Your metabolism has a "3 Hour Rule". Your metabolism starts to slow down after 3 hours with out food to prevent starvation. If between your 3 meals you added a small snack of healthy food like carrots or fruit or something, not only will it help out with your hunger and cravings, it will help you lose more weight because it will keep your metabolism working in high gear.

You should be eating at least 1500 calories a day and exercising regularly. I found this cool site that helps you count calories and they have a message board. It is called .. www.caloriecount.com .. I suggest you try it. It has been very helpful to me

It sounds as though you are cutting calories too deeply. How many are you consuming?
It also sounds that you should be adding some high fiber foods to your diet such as plain oatmeal (low in calories and high in fiber), air popped popcorn, you can also have tons of veggies and not ruin a diet. Have more fruit.
If you are eating enough food, that is high in fiber you should still at a point where you are not full, but just a little bit hungry.
Keep some raw veggies on hand so when you do get hungry you can eat all you want and not have to worry about calories, carbs, fats or sugar.
If you have oatmeal or low sugar cereal have a bowl-it won't blow your diet.
