blimey you got the guilt thing off to a tee!!!! I started the day with a slim fast shake then another for lunch then thought sod it and had a chinese for tea. I'll live and as long as you don't have that every day so will you. chill out and enjoy your food(just not too much of the processed stuff) lol

I feel you, I always get freaked out like that or at least I used to. My dad had a heart attack and me being a little overweight and with horrible eating habits (daily) I was scared I was going to end up having an attack to or a stroke. I have started to exercise, take my meds for cholesterol and blood pressure, and have changed my eating habits. I have lost over 40 lbs. Yes, you can have a heart attack at any age really if your blood pressure is high and you have high cholesterol but if you just went buck wild once then it shouldn't be a problem. To be save though I would go to the dr. and ask him to check your cholesterol...the normal should be under 200. If it's a little over you will be put on pills and they should bring that down with healthy eating and exercise. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Some signs of heart attack are sweating, chest pains, numbness of your arms left or right I think, one is for heart attack and the other is sign of stroke I always forget which side is which. You also feel like there is something stuck in your throat and like an elephant is sitting on your chest. (pressure on your chest) Relax...instead start doing things to stop your worrying like checking with a doc, and changing your eating habits and exercise habits. Good luck.

relax, one day of that crap won't hurt you. just try not to do it on a regular basis if you want to say healthy. although i know people who eat that stuff all the time and are fine.

You have done nothing wrong. As long as this does not become a daily or weekly habit you will be just fine. I understand why you feel guilty but don't stress out over it. The way I see it is if you allow yourself to indulge every now and again you are less likely to do it all the time.

okay. what r u scared about. a lot of people do things like that everyday. and are fit. no u won't get a heart attack. just drink a lot of water and exercise and u'll be fine.

You will not have a heartattack!! Eating some fatty foods doesnt mean you will have heart problems especially because you are fit and you never done this before. Ofcourse you feel guilty and youer stomach might feel weird because it is not used to that but we have to splurge once in a while dont we?! dont worry your fine and your just over egzagerating!

doubt anythink that drastic would happen even if you were fat. you should get your colesterol level checked. as even skinny people can have a high colesterol level. my uncle is only 8stone and his colesterol was 14! the doctor said he's lucky to be alive. as 5 and below is the recomended level. the doc never saw a 14 befor, and said it defied all medical logic.

Don't sweat it girl, I am 40. When I was in my late teens and early 20's ate my fair share of kebabs, KFC's and general junk. As long as it's not a regular event there should be no ill effects.
In fact I have heard the latest advice is when you are dieting or trying to loose weight having the odd burger can be beneficial physiologically speaking.

Its all natural to eat a lot once in while. A huge meal wont do any damage to your health especially your heart. it is also impossible to get heart attack especially if you not over weight, so theres nothing to be afraid of.

No, you won't have a heart attack unless you do this every day for ten years! Don't worry too much about today as comfort food can be good in moderation, but if you're worried about your long-term health, learn to cook. Your diet will improve as you do- get some good cookbooks and start investigating new ingredients. Find what you like and go from there- clearly you like chicken and kebabs, so maybe go for a greek cookbook. If you like curries go for a curry book, etc.
It's good that you're worried at 18, some people never learn how to cook and go on eating rubbish forever! Good luck!

well...I was watching Oprah one day and they were talking about how one day doesnt make you fat or even ill its a long amount of time the does that too you. Dont stress about it and if you really dont feel good at all about it go and run//exercise but you will be fine i promise! && if you are on your period then hey thats an excuse too lol!

See this is what makes me sick about this weight obsession crap. Here's a young woman, barely out of high school, beating herself up and calling herself a "bad girl" for indulging in (gasp!) food one day. You should definitely eat a balanced diet, but eating junk food every once in awhile is not going to give you a heart attack. Don't get into the habit of mixing food and guilt, Hon. That's one of the most dangerous paths you can go down.

FIRST OF ALL DO NOT WORRY!
I can not tell you that nothing wrong will happen but I am almost positive that if you stress this much over a one time incident you will give yourself a heart attack.
I am no doctor but I believe that a craving and/or hunger are a sign of... something. For instance, sometimes it happens to me when I am about to start my period I crave junk food and chocolate. It also happens to me when I am stressing, sometimes so bad that I do not even notice when I am doing it.
SO DO NOT WORRY, just try to be aware of what you are eating and if you want junk food, it is OK, get your burger, ask them to cut it in half and just eat one half but, if you are like me and can not stay away from the other half just give the other half away or (worst case scenario) throw it away.
