I would say that it depends on the circumstances. Water is good for you while you're working out. But don't drink to much, as this will make you gain more weight. During the first weeks of a diet you may loose a fair amount of weight, this is only water weight. So in the coming weeks you could expect to only loose a few kilos as you have lost all the water and fluids that were once in your body! Although drinking lots of water one week and gaining, then burning it off the next week could help you to loose more weight. This has proven to be a very tactical move. In Australia's biggest losser when Kristie drank bottles of water and gained 7 kilos, and lost 14 kilos the next week. Even though this may seem effective it is highly dangerous as drinking too much water can lead to you flooding your kidneys or your lungs (causing death). I hope that answers your question xoxo lozza |

Yes, water (along with moderate exercise) is probably the best thing you can do to lose weight. Water increases your metabolism, which increases the amount of calories you burn. Drink plenty of water. Lemons are also good to assist in weight loss because they are diuretics. I'm not sure about pineapples though. |

pineapple and water are dioxidants. they are healthy to eat and clean out your blood. ideally you should drink 8 servings of water a day. the best is to cut back junk food, eat a good breakfast to cut down hunger for the rest the day and eat as much fruit and raw veggies as you can. peace! kale is one of the top dioxidants there is. Yes on the water... it is real good at flushing out impurities and definately helps you lose weight.. It also helps with keeping you feel full.. If you drink a full glass of water just before you sit down to eat you will not eat as much... I am not sure about the lemon to be honest with you... but pineapple juice will help pack on the pounds not get rid of them.. Pineapple juice is loaded with frutose which is sugar... to much juice is not good for weight loss. You might be thinking of Grapefruit Juice.. well if you can stomach drinking it ( I can't) I have heard that it helps with weight loss.. There are alot of diets out there that constist of drinking Grapefruit Juice.. I think if you typed in Grapefruit Juice diet in your search bar you would probably find many... good luck, hope this helped :) |

Yes that is right. Water does help you lose weight, it washes out the fat cells, apple cider vinegar is excellent, lemon, apple juice with no sugar added apple pectin, this all help melt away fat because of the acids, grapefruit is another one. Keep in mind they only HELP you. You have to do your part by excercising and not eating a lot . |

Well... yes but not in the way that you would think. If you are not drinking enough water during the day - atleast 8 glasses - then your body will retain water (a survival mechanism) and you will weigh 2-4 pounds more then you should. It takes several weeks of drinking 8 glasses a day for the body to readjust and flush out retained water - you will go to the bathroom often, but in the end you will weigh several pounds less. Technically, you're not loosing fat but shedding water and therefore will weigh less. As for pineapple and lemon - they are a healthy part of the diet but don't expect it to shed pounds for you. They aid digestion... which can't hurt, so its a good addition to any diet. |

Definitely. Cut out the sugary drinks and drink one glass of water before a meal, during, and after. It's a good way to meet your 8 glasses (8oz.) a day. Switch it up and have setzer water with lemon. It counts too. Here's a good article to get you started: http://kutv.com/healthyliving/local_story_326193242.html |

I've never heard of water, pineapple and lemon as a combination allowing you to lose weight. But obviously, just the thought of someone eating only these three stuff for about a month, you'll definitely lose a lot of weight. It depends on your stamina and your determination; but I don't think it is healthy. The last time a friend of mine got knocked down with stroke. She was way overweight, high blood pressure, enlarged heart, heavy drinker. She was bedridden for a month. The doctor told her that she needed to lose a lot of weight because of her condition. So it was a must. In the mornings she drank a cup of tea with non fat milk and a splenda, no sugar. Two slices of toast. In the afternoons, she drank a chicken soup. At 6:00 p.m. she had a cup of tea with a couple of soda biscuits. That was all she had for an entire month. She lost 60 lbs. It was very amazing. It's the determination you have that helps you a lot. Of course, you have to drink a lot of water but no juices or sodas. Fruits are good but literally just a little piece only after the soup. |

Yes, it does, it's not going to make you loose 100's but it's going to help, but you have to drink enough. I think it's like 1/2 your body weight in ounces.. is you weigh 200lbs drink 100 ozs of water each day. Water does alot for you and the more you drink it the better you will feel I swear! |

Yes, it is true. Water DOES help you lose weight in SEVERAL ways: 1) It helps flush out toxins from your system. 2) It gets fats and sugars out of your system. 3) COLD water helps you lose weight in that, when you ingest cold water, your body has to warm it up to body temperature, and doing this burns calories. |

Yes, water does help you lose weight. It's called water weight. Most people don't get enough water in there diets which causes there body to retain all the water that's coming into their body thus for adding on weight from the water. When you drink more water your body does not have to retain that water and you excrete more water through the kidneys, sweating, etc, therefore the weight you once retained through water is being lost. |

Water helps to fill your stomach and keep the food cravings in check (to a certain extent). Thus its good to drink a full glass of water about 10-20 minutes before meal times. Water is also great to remove toxins in your body. As for the other question....no. Its a myth that sour stuffs helps to 'cut' and 'wash away' the fat. Most of such juices contains sugar and too much of it makes you gain weight instead! In fact...its a much better idea to replace as much of your beverage with water. Good luck! |
