Yes, actually. All kinds of beer, esp. lager are very high in nutrients. The Egyptians were often paid in beer for it's health values.
However, the alcohol in beer is very bad for your liver, and alcohol is high in calories.
So yes, if you can afford a liver transplant...

No beer is good for you!
Don't believe everything you read and hear - advertising is designed to get you to use a product, and they will tell you anything to get you to use it, even if they have to lie or fudge on the truth.

The ONLY way to enjoy Guinness is to go to a real, old Irish pub (in Ireland preferably) full of eccentirc characters, mad farmers, buskers and rebels.
And you have to drink Draught Guinness - it doesn't travel well, you know :-)
As for the adverts, what have they got to do with reality ... ?

Guinness is full of Iron and other minerals, it was a well known fact that Stouts (which is what Guinness is) were a source of Iron and Minerals for some time (as in the advertising campaign in the 60's 70's for Macesson which simple went "Macesson is good for you"). In fact in the 60's and 70's and probably earlier and later, pregnant women with anaemia would drink a bottle or two of stout a day. That would not do today would it LOL.
So to answer your question, yes a couple of bottles or the odd pint of Guinness would be beneficial to your health, but 10 pints a night would not. I could see where this one was heading.
