i think it is kind of short.............. but leaning more on the medium height, my sister os 5'5" and she is a lot shorter than her 6'3" husband but compared to other people about medium.

I think it's slightly tall, depending on your ethnicity. Average height of a female in the U.S. is about 5'4. Average for males is about 5'9. Look at the link I listed as a source. It has some really interesting info about this stuff.

for a girl, kinda tall, but not too tall. it's about 2 inches taller than me, and i'm short. you're in between

I consider it to be the line between tall and short.
Everyone i know considers 5'4 short but the people who are 5'6 and above are tall.
I'd say it was the perfect height.

you can go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_height to see the average heights of women around the world. a huge majority are under 5'5". on the other hand...everything is relative...so maybe it depends on the height of the person viewing the 5'5" woman. ;)
