If you eat 800 calories a day and jog for 40 min will you lose weight?
i want to lose weight in 2-3 weeks and if you any other good diet plans pleas tell me and by doing that(800 cals a day...) will you lose weight like will it be notice i mean will i lose a lot?

2-3 weeks won't do anything
in fact your body will use up it's own fat and you will get even fatter
because your body is used to a certain amount of calories already

and no. after losing 10 lbs you look almost exactly the same

Yes it will because you'll be burning off the calories you're eating.
To stop yourself getting hungry try drinking hot water with a slice of lemon in it. Make sure you drink a lot though. This will probably cause you to put on weight immediately tho when you start eating properly because your stomach wont be used to the change of amount of food.

That is is more than enough for exercise. If you do that for about 3
-5 days a week, you should lose about 6-12 pounds per month. I'm not sure, I'm estimating. Yeah it should be noticeable, but you have to do it for 2-3 months for it to be noticeable.

No your body will go into starvation mode and you will become overly tired and week because your body will actually start processing muscle tissue before it uses its fat reserves because your body wants to hold on to that for emergency supple. The best thing to do is to figure out your basal metabolic rate. You use energy no matter what you're doing, even when sleeping. The BMR Calculator will calculate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR); the number of calories you'd burn if you stayed in bed all day. Once your find this amount of calories you need to eat exactly that many calories, and that will keep your body from starving, and yet anything you do when you get out of bed and walk, work, talk to a friend, pace on the phone....all these things will burn calories that you didnt eat and you will lose weight quickly and the healthy way. It worked for me very well.

You will lose weight yes. People think 800cals aint alot but it depends on what type of food your eating.
Idea's = drinking a whole glass of water before you eat your meal.
= dont eat after 6pm
Also there is a new adios max pill out heard they are good.
(brought some myself)
To be able to jog for 40mins a day do you mean like doing 10mins then resting then 10mins again?
If 40mins at one time then it sounds astho you dont need to lose weight

If you want to lose weight then eat healthy and exercise often. Diets don't work! If you eat 800 calories a day your boby will suffer because you should be eating around 2000. Eat healthy for a few weeks and your body will thank you for it.

your going to loose weight so quicklly...
you should need about 2000 per day!!
Teenagers need even more 2750 per day LOL!!
To get thin you need to keep a healthy diet below your daily amount of calories and do lots of exersise.
Experts say weight loss is best done slowly!!!
Also remember that if you dont eat your stomach makes the food last longer but when you come back to your normal diet you will get back to normal weight and beyond!!!

Typically you want to have a 500 calories deficit per day for weight loss. So, for a normal female, you need about 1500 calories a day, and since you are jogging 40 minutes (modest intensity), and that is about 400 calories, so total you use 1900 calories. So working backwards, you intake of food should be 1900 less 500 = 1400 calories a day.

If you can maintain a 500 calories deficit each day, you will lose about 1 lb of fat per week (1 lb of fat = 3500 calories).

800 calories is less than maintenance for anyone over 50lbs. This would not be healthy. You want to consume less calories than your burning but at a healthy level. If you do this diet your body will go into starvation mode and begin shedding important muscle tissue (muscle requires/burns calories just being on your body, fat does not) and in addition to this your metabolism will drop significantly which will reduce calories burned and make you feel way to crappy to train/exercise. In most cases dropping to 1300-1600 daily calories with moderate exercise or 1500-2000 calories with heavy exercise will be the range you'll want to stick with and that is the whole key...stick with it.

Yes! you will! It'll just fall off you!..... but be careful you don't lose it too fast and get those flaps of skin... I dunno about you personally but for most people 800 calories a day is very little...

Eating that few calories under any conditions is unhealthy, especially if you are doing exercise in conjunction with it. Use this BMR calculator to approximate your daily caloric needs. To lose weight just subtract 2-3 calories per day.

yes but u should eat 2,000 calories a day thats healthy and u wont gain wait cuz thats the amount u need but that will lose u wait but make sure u eat like vegies and fruits and salads and make sure u eat enough we wouldnt want u fainting i remember in 5th grade i wanted 2 get more time b4 i went 2 school so i skipped breakfast every moring ended up fainting from hunger O_O

idk, but make sure you have something to eat before you jog. You want to burn calories. 800 calories sounds like a close second to fasting.

800 calories a day is not enough. You need at least 1200. Try watching your fat intake instead. Cut your carbs down. You will loose weight but you could put yourself in the hospital in the process with only 800 calories a day. Good luck

Your body needs more calories than that or else you will go into starvation mode, which will correspond VERY POORLY with the jogging. You can damage vital organs by being so foolish. Shoot for 1200-1500 calories per day. Excersize at least 30 minutes a day, at least 5 times a week.

Make sure most of your caloric intake comes from whole grains, vegetables, and fruit. Be sure to get a couple servings of dairy each day. And make sure you get protein as well (meat, fish, nuts).

You do need to eat a bit more than 800Kcal's. Eating the normal 1500 Kcal and jogging 40mins, you'll loose weight, slowly and healthily.
If you loose too much weight and too fast, your skin will not elasticate back properly, meaning you'll have saggy skin, if you do this, then tone aswell !
Maybe eat 1,200, the more exercise you do, the more Kcal's you're meant to have, Kcal's are engery, if you burn loads of energy, you need to eat more energy.

No it will not your not eating enough to run that long eat more if your going to exercise but eat healthy stuff. Jenny craig also has great food and helps a lot i know it worked well for 1 of my family members. hope i helped.

Personally I wouldn't go on a diet if I wanted to get thinner, because believe it or not it makes you fatter... =O

Yes, because you begin to eat less, you body starts storing the food that you do eat, and the longer the diet goes for, the more you store, so if you store food, obviously you're going to get... larger.

Sounds quite unhealthy, I would look for proven diet plans. Try cutting out all white foods such as pasta, bread, rice etc. And eat as little sugar as possible. Jogging for 40 minutes EVERY day sounds like quite a lot, could damage your ankles, although I'm no expert. Just go to the gym 3-4 times a week.

That's not a healthy amount of calories to eat.
Eat at least 1500 of the right balance, and run your 40 minutes, which will burn off about 600 of them. Don't starve the weight off.

At 800 your body will go into emergency mode and not let you burn up fat. You will reach a weight loss plateaux where no matter how little you eat, the weight won't come off.

Try eating more protein and as much salad as you like.

You won't have energy to run. To lose weight you have to eat at least 1200 *high quality* calories a day (lean meat, veggies, salad, dairy, eggs), more if you are running 40 minutes a day.

First rule of weight loss: YOU HAVE TO EAT TO LOSE WEIGHT.

At 800 calories you will have no energy and will screw up your metabolism, making it nearly impossible to lose weight in the future.

Not much. Under starvation diet (which is what that is considered) you body will hold on to every calorie it gets. These calories will be stored as fat as your body perceives you lack of nutrients as a signal of distress. This will also cause your metabolism to slow to a crawl. Being sedentary will only worsen this effect.
You'll find better results eating 1800 calories a day and being sedentary. Your body burns 2000 calories, give or take, everyday doing normal things (breathing, circulating blood, etc.), this doesn't include the calories you burn by moving around. eating 1800-1900 calories a day will mean you're burning more calories than you are consuming, while not making your body think it's starving.
Any weight that would be lost under your proposed diet Plan would not be fat, it would be muscle. This is counter productive because muscle may weigh more than fat, but it burns more calories when in stasis.

-Edit- Excessive exercise on a starvation diet is going to make the fat retention worse.
