You can not loose 40 pounds fast.You need to decrease your caloric intake and increase your exercise.try eating 5 small feedings a day say oatmeal for breakfast,fruit veggies yogurt cottage cheese,eat real food not processed stay away from breads and junk food no soda and lots of water.Good luck

Sweetie, it's impossible to lose that much weight that quickly. Plus trying to do so is unhealthy. Please be very careful as you don't want to develop bulimia or anorexia.

I'd suggest, with your parents permission, join something like weight watchers, or go to your doctor. They can teach you healthy portion sizes and how to eat healthy food. They can also help you with exercise. (I lost 54 pounds in a year with them)

Also be careful with the exercising - an hour everyday of the week seems a bit much to me. If your parents are willing to take you go to Bally's and talk to a fitness coach. Or better yet, join a sports team at school. That will give you tons of free exercise.

I completely understand how you feel but coming from a place where I was anorexic at 15 (I got down to under 90 pounds) I know the dangers or too much dieting. Please be careful and seek some professionals and your parents!

hi i am 12 too!!! um i would say to not eat a lot and have water and salald only. umm instead of 1 hour do 2 hours. u will like lose 2 pounds a week. so ya im trying to lose weight too but it is working for me. hope that helps

The only way to lose 40 pounds in 19 days is cutting a leg off! It takes about loosing 3 pounds a week in a healthy way! You should have thought of this when school ended!

I recomend eating in moderation, use a small plate and eat with your weak hand. NEVER eat past 8:00, that's a major cause of obesity! Eat organic foods, like eggs and salads and fruits. k? No processed crap!

No dieting for you! You are far too young and will not reach you maximum growth potential if you stop eating. The important thing is to change WHAT you eat. TAlk to your mom/dad for help. No processed foods - just eat fruit, vegetables, lean meats, nuts/seeds/legumes (beans), and whole grain foods. Try drinking water instead of pop. And try to stay active all day long - ride your bike, go for a walk, go swimming, help with housework. Every motion helps so even watching t.v., try to get up to change the channel instead of using the remote control. Walk to the store instead of getting a lift. If you are eating the right things, then the weight will come off without stunting your growth. Good luck to you and remember that if you make a mistake and binge on something, don't freak out about it - just go right back to eating well and exercising a lot. You will not lose 40 pounds in 19 days but you will see a real difference and soon enough you will be the size/shape that you wish for.

You are setting your goal WAY to high. What you want is IMPOSSIBLE. I don't care what anyone says, aside from getting your stomach stapled or cutting off some limbs, it's impossible to lose that much weight. Try to eat more vegetables and LAY OFF CARBS!!!!

cut down the portions u eat. if u eat 2 handfuls of something, cut it down to 1 handful.- u get it? and stop eating junk food such as- chips, cookies,and candy. eat lots of fruits and veg.

I recently lost 60 pounds and trust me it did not happen over night. And certainly not in 19 days. Just keep exercising and drinking lots of water. Try to eat a lot of fiber and low fat.

CARBS ARE OKAY! Just learn which ones are good and which ones are not. Try to stay away from white foods like processed sugars, processed flour, potatoes. If you are going to eat pasta try a whole wheat pasta. Try to make sure you are eating 5-8 SMALL meals per day. Watch your portions that is where most people really get into trouble.

Good Luck. Also, Weight Watchers was a great place for me you should talk to your parents and find the nearest meeting and attend it to see if it will work for you.

you are definitely not going to lose 40lbs. in 19 days, but you can set that weight loss goal in a more long term sense. start to eat healthy things like fruits & veggies. stay away from junk food like potato chips or candy. exercise at a healthy level, & get more active!

you cant do that. its safe to lose 3 pounds a week only. dont do a crash diet but eat healthyer (no chips fried stuff) thy eating more fruits and veggies. When your hungry eat slowly do you can tell that your full easyer. Go to the doctor before you start a diet. Run or swim for an hour thats the best exersise. Good luck!

First of all, be happy with yourself. Talk to your parents, gardian or maybe your school nurse about checking out a diet program. All of the diet programs offer programs for all ages. Don't starve yourself and focus on being a 12 year old and having fun & doing well in school. You have your entire life ahead of you to enjoy. =-)

forty pounds in 19 days is not going to happen be realistic maybe 15 pounds maximum, remember the slower you lose it the more likely it is too stay off, as you admit you eat alot the only way you can lose weight is by sensibly cutting down your food intake, try fruit and eggs in the morning, replace white breads with wholegrain and white pasta and rice for brown etc, it's all about the choices you make you can do this, good luck. It is possible to lose 40 pounds (although it may not be healthy depending on how much you weigh) but it is not something that can happen in 19 days... you may be able to lose a few pounds but it will take a few months to lose 40, sorry!

What's your weight now that makes you want to lose 40 so badly? 40 is a lot and takes a lot of time, my friend worked out for a month and lost 15 pounds, and that is supposed to be a good result in such a short time.

If you continue to exercise and eat a low calorie, low fat diet you can lose 2-4 pounds per week.

White meats (chicken and turkey, most fish) is low in calorie and in fat. Veggies are also filling, but not high in calories or fat. Organize a plan for eating, and stick to it.

Collect all your "trigger foods"(foods you binge on), and store them all in one place. Put a sign on that place not to touch, and don't.

Eat raw and natural foods, not Cheetos, and continue to exercise.

It is unlikely that you will lose much the first couple of days or even weeks, but soon your cravings will go away and you will slowly lose the weight.

Do not starve yourself, this won't work and you will only gain the weight back.

40 lbs is a little unrealistic, I guarantee if you keep it up and exercise you could lose 15lbs. Losing 15lbs is very visible on a person

-keep excersicing

-keep drinking water

-dont eat unhealthy food
or food that will make you fat

-keep away from snacks,
anything that is in a box, dry foods

it takes a lot of disciplin but you can lose a lot of weight,

dont do drugs

have a good life
