Stop dieting - it will always lead to bingeing. Always! Eat healthy but do not diet! The deprivation will always lead to cravings and binges. If dieting worked this country would not have an obesity problem.
Finally and most importantly - the diet failed, not you. Repeat, you did not fail!! The diet was faulty from the start, it's not you.

Don't be hard on yourself - it happens to the best of us! The next time you eat today make sure it is just fruit or vegetables - raw. Go back to your diet tomorrow.

Well make a commitment not to binge again, go for a 20-40 minute walk or do some cardio to work it off. You aren't going to gain like, 100 pounds from 1 day of bingeing.

Stay positive and don't get discourage. Forgive yourself, you'll be more successful in your diet if you're flexibly but committed and allow room for a small moments of weakness.

1: Do not purge
2: Exercise
3: Get on a different diet. If you cannot stick to it, it will only make things worse. I suggest low sugar (ie avoid anything sweet like soda or candy) and high fiber (fruits, vegetables, whole grains).

Go for a walk, drink lots of water, and start a fresh tomorrow. No worries. This isn't even a bump on the road, its a crack. Unless it keeps widening, you can get past it.

When I was in 6th grade (12 years) I weighed 220 pounds, now racing and at a cut 180 at age 26, here are some suggestions:
1) I would suggest you do not buy food that you know you shouldn't eat. For example, if there is ice cream in the freezer, there's a good chance I'll dig in, if all I have around are healthy things, then those are my only options.
2) Stop eating out, ginormous portion sizes and mystery ingredients are what is turning America into an obese nation.
3) Eat a healthy breakfast- fiber rich cereal, oatmeal, avoid frozen pastries, sugary pop-tarts, and other junk. And whatever you do, don't skip a meal. Learn to cook, veggies and lean meats like turkey and chicken are great for dinner.
4) Burn it off. Get some exercise- don't worry what people think of you at the gym, just look forward to what they'll be thinking of you if you keep going long enough.

Look, one day of binging is NOT going to make you fat. what makes a person fat is constantly eating junk food. Therefore, take good care of your body and nourish it with veggies and fruits. Then go for a run around the block. You will feel SO much better doing that than purging. Trust me.

Let today go. Don't do anything to get rid of it, like laxatives or vomiting...that's bad for you!
Just start again tomorrow, with light foods, like soups with veggies, cereal like Cheerios or Cream of Wheat, and fruits like oranges & apples. Drink V-8 juice for your nutrients. Then, you'll be all set to continue your diet!

Just drink a lot of water today, and forgive yourself! You need a day like this once in a while, or you'll rip someone's head off :)

Forget about it and start again. Everyone slips up now and again, just don't think that you have "failed" because of this. Let it go and move on with your diet as normal. Good luck and hope to be "seeing" less of you soon!

Start fresh tomorrow and don't dwell on it. If you're on a very strict diet then you're probably going to binge in the future too. Don't completely rule out any food. If you're going crazy for sugars or breads, allow yourself to have a little and keep it moving. Which results in more weight gain? Binging on 2 or 3,000 calories every other week or having a sample here and a sample there consistently?

Relax, everybody will binge once in a while. When it cools down this evening go for a walk, swim or do an activity. That will help to burn the calories you didn't want to consume.
You should be proud of yourself for trying to take care of your body and I'm sure most of the time you do a great job of it.
Take care.

ONE binge day every once in a while isn't going to hurt anything. don't let it become a habit, and get back to your diet (strictly) tomorrow. and don't sweat the things you can't change. "puke it up" is terrible advice, and bulemia is nothing to joke about.
