I recomend that you try yougurt with gronola. That is a simple easy inexpensive breakfast. Also try 2 slices of whole grain bread with peanut butter on top of them.

Oatmeal doesn't take long and it's very good for you... some sort of "bran" or "whole grain" cereal. Anything like that will help your digestion throughout the day.

I am a big fan of fruit in the moring. I go for a banana, maybe some strawberries, glass of OJ, protien shake and a bagel with cream cheese. Cream chesse not all that healthy, I could just have a dry bagel but I like to splurge.

I like to make a smoothie with some fruit juice, frozen fruit, a banana, and protein powder. It takes about 1 minute to make, and it's healthy and filling.

On cold winter mornings I take a packet of instant cream of wheat, pour it into a bowl, slice in a half a banana, pour in the required amount of Soy milk (my preference) and then microzap for one minute, stir and eat. It's healthy, it's tasty, it's warm, and it's fast.

A piece of whole-grain toast, spread with 1-2 tablespoons of peanut butter, and a banana.
A cup of yogurt sprinkled with a whole grain cereal (I like Grape Nuts) and a glass of orange juice.
A bowl of whole grain cereal, with skim milk, and a piece of cheese and/or a hard-boiled egg.
An all-natural, low fat granol bar (like Cliff bars) and an orange, a bunch of grapes, a cup of yogurt, a banana, or an apple.
The key is to go for natural, whole grain foods, lower fat content, and to try to mix a fruit, a grain, and a protein item in each meal.
Hope this helps.

you could have some fruit, apples or bananas with peanut butter, yogurt with some yummy granola on top, some quick cereal, with skim milk, i put my granola in a plastic cup with some Soy milk and eat on the road hahahah so much easier and saves me some more time to curl hair or etc. The sky is the limit, oh a nice piece of whole wheat bread with cream cheese, or PB, or light margarine. The old standard...half a grapefruit(great in the summer months..so refreshing).

There's all the typical stuff you can grab and run with...or you actually have 15 minutes and want a good, hot breakfast you could make an omelet. I recently went to a dinner party where we did "breakfast for dinner".
What you do is put egg or egg whites in a ziploc bag, add any extra ingredients like fresh mushrooms, peppers, cheese, etc...and then seal the bag and drop it in a pot of boiling water for about 10+ minutes, finish getting ready, etc...and then when it's done you can pop it right out of the bag and it's a perfect omelet, with none of the mess!

Fresh fruit. You can cut it up the night before and put it into a container and take it with you.
Yogurt with some cereal.
The most important thing is to get a well balanced breakfast to start your day.
Try and get some carbs, protien and some fruits in and you're set.
Like V-8... switch the fruit for that!
Don't want cereal... try cereal bars/Bran/Granola bars.
Just make sure when you buy them that they are low in fat. Try to avoid chocolate ones.
Breakfast is the most important meal... but, I find, the easiest to eat in a hurry/on the run!!

grapefruits are really tastey, and high in acid, so add a little sugar on it and its quick and great. its acids also help burn fat. you could also try waffles with fruits on top instead of syrup.

I know a LOT of people might trash on me for this but every morning I enjoy a good protein nutrition bar (I guess you could say "diet" bar...) with a cup of tea and I've lost 15 pounds. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so why not start the day out with a nutrition bar full of vitamins and minerals. Also, there is less cleanup involved. :)

Hot cereal doesn't have to be just oatmeal, there's malt-o-meal, cream of wheat/rice, farina, rice and more
fruit is important
yogurt
toast/bagel/muffin
for fiber..bran muffins are good
healthy cold cereals
eggs and toast with juice
Smoothies (see link)
use honey as sweetener
Soy products
nut butters
use spreads like apple butter in place of margarine
butter is healthier than margarine
fruit spreads can also be added to hot cereals
