lettuce
ice berg lettuce is crunchy... but not tasty
eat healthier chips. like blue corn. those are awesome. there's a company that makes chips called "Dirty's" and they are healthy, and taste great! If not better... because you know you're eating healthy.
From the back of the chip bag:
"ALL NATURAL
CHOLESTEROL FREE
KETTLE COOKED IN OUR PEANUT OIL BLEND
KOSHER CERTIFIED
AND CONTAIN:
NO MSG
NO ARTIFICIAL COLORS
NO PRESERVATIVES
NO WHEAT GLUTENS
NO HYDROGENATED OIL
AT "DIRTY'S" WE DON'T WASH OUT THE NATURAL POTATO FLAVOR, SO OUR CHIPS ARE CRUNCHIER AND TASTIER.
ENJOY, JOHN SHAW

Well, oven chips have less fat. (but are still not good for you)
I do not know anything that can replace chips.
If you talking about potato chips, then experiment with other foods.

If you like veggies, you can thinly cut some like eggplant and bake them in the oven with some low calorie seasonings. Tastes great and very healthy.
