i think you should eat special k cereal eat it for two weeks and you can lose six pounds. or just sign in to weightwatchers.com/free it is a free trial you can eat what you want and still lose weight.good luck

Being a vegetarian alone will not help... in fact you can still gain tons of weight as a vegetarian (though its harder if you do vegan). Do eat healthy though. Some foods that are helpful
Eggs help you fill full and are high in protein (good for muscles) and like-wise beans (try high-fiber beans if possible) will do the same. Eat a large salad before starting on the rest of the meal. Eating grapefruit, Celery, and Garlic help to burn calories (or break down fat in the case of Garlic). Also peppers such as cheyenne and Horseradish boost your metabolism.
If you are walking 4 miles/day and 2hours of phys ed (where you really put an effort into it) then you will lose weight continually unless you have something else causing a hormone imbalance (beyond what you get as a teenager). I am not sure how long you have been doing this exercise but give it time... (months). By summer you should have lots a good deal of weight and feel very healthy if you keep it up.
To help boost your metabolism you can do many things... Be sure and eat breakfast. Eat the majority of your food early in the day... You can also try to break up your meals into smaller parts (you can have a snack after lunch and a smaller dinner for instance). Smaller more frequent meals helps keep your blood sugar (and energy level) stable and it keeps you from overeating.
Muscles burn more calories... so some weight training or exercises that target muscle building (sit-ups, squats, running, etc) will help burn calories faster.
Doing some sprinting can really burn calories fast. You could add that to some of your walking.
Drink lots of water! Water is required as part of the metabolism process. Also if you drink cold water your body burns calories warming you up. Don't go crazy and drink a liter in 1 long swig though (that can be hazardous seriously!) Just drink it steadily through out the day.
Dance (especially salsa), kickboxing, racquetball and jumping rope can all be fun ways to burn a lot of calories. These will ton your legs (and thighs) a great deal more than just walking as a bonus!
Don't worry about your cheeks.. as you burn more fat and start toning that will happen as well.
Also remember at 16 you are still going to go through growing spurts where your body is going to behave differently. Concentrate on living healthy overall and before you know it you will be past and you will be ahead of the game (and any friends who might have looked fine *back then* but now do not have your energy level or continued healthy and toned body).

The first order of business is to stop thinking about it so much. Obviously you are obsessed with it and are not thinking clearly.
You need to find out why you are fat, if you intend to get rid of it. All fat is not unhealthy. All fat is not easily rid of through exercise and reduction in eating habits.
When you figure out exactly what contributes to your fat, then you can seek to reverse it.
You could run 10 miles a day but if it has nothing to do with fat around quick twitch muscles, all you are doing is tiring yourself.

Yeah here's a tip- put down the chips and ice cream, pick up the carrot sticks and fruit. Exercise a minimum of 4 times a week. STAY ACTIVE. You need to spice up your workout routine, do more than just walking. Look some exercises up online if you can't afford a membership to the gym. Do some cardio, yoga, pilates, anything! Don't walk when you can run! You need to shed those pounds little lady, so that your outside beauty will begin to glow more than ever.
The most important thing is this- remember this is not a DIET. This is a LIFESTYLE CHANGE! You can do it!

Hon, I hope I don't piss you off, but the only way to lose weight is to take in fewer calories than you burn. And to be safe and healthy, you need to keep up the good work with the phys ed and walking too.

i got some tips 15Min's of changing from sit ups to push ups to steam engines (left elbow to right knee then right elbow to left knee) mountain climbers like a push up but knees touch elbows running up an down stairs run up hills bring an i pod while running cause your mind will quit before your body will drink a lot of water a day cut back on fatty food eat less eat more of breads pasta whole grains

i'm a girl your age, and i KNOW i won't ever be a size10! But i am very healthy, and my thighs don't jiggle as much as some girls that are a size 8! sometimes when we do lots of excersize like you are, we gain more muscle than fat. for your thighs, did you try squats?
or lunges?

a size 10? dont worry about size. im not saying your good just the way your are, ect...
im 16, i wear a size 13 or a size15 jeans, depending on the brand. i dont look at the pants size . they dont define me. i have a big butt, yes i do..haha..
i used to have chubby checks, but i started to eat less and more frequently. i eat about 5 times a day, small portions and its pretty much all healthy food. because im eating constantly , my body always has to burn it off, causing my body's metobolism to run all of the time. remember, im eating only healty foods. (red meat, veggies, meat meat meat....) meat is very hard for the body to break down, meaning it works harder. also, drink alot of water. it flushes out your body.
i have fat on me...im actually kinda chubby...i guess...BUT i have a boyfriend, hes very athletic, 6 foot 4, hardly any body fat. hes a better looking guy then most of the "skinny" girls boyfriends. most guys, well the good ones, are looking for a girl with a body, not a stick with little twigs for limbs.

Snacking on healthy foods throughout the day steadies your metabolism and help you loose weight.
What you do:
Eat light meals (breakfast lunch and dinner) Every day you snack on baby carrots between meals whenever you are hungry.
You can switch carrots with Celery and other vegetables and fruit.
My uncle is a bariatric surgeon and this his answer for people who are not yet heavy enough to need surgery.

Definitely change your diet, eat more fruits and veggies and overall eat less. To lose one pound a week through diet you have to eliminate about 500 calories a day, because one pound of fat is 3500 calories. Walking is good, but maybe a little bit of a more intense excersize can be added. Don't overdo it thiough, start off slow. You can't target certain spots for weight loss, just lose fat overall. Excersize about an hour or more a day, and eat when you are hungry. Try not to eat out of boredom, only eat when you are hungry. Eat less processed foods, and avoid anything with trans fat or hydrogenated oils like the plague. No soda either. Limit Tv and computer time. you should see results pretty fast. Good luck!

you need to eat healthier. i don't know if you're male or female, but some females who begin to menustrate may have a big problem with losing weight. your doctor may need to help you develop an eating plan, i know mine did.

Im over wheight to and know how you feel. Im 13 and were a size 16. Mostly because of my butt. Im tryin to lose wheight also. So i cant give you so much advise. But you can try to go on a diet with a friend. Ask a docter which diet is best for you. But the basics. Eat healther and try not to eat so much. Eat more salads. Stay away from fats, oils, and soda. Drink diet or water. Hope i could help. Good luck!!

the exercise you are doing is VERY good. Make sure to drink lots of water. Drinking water helps to keep your body balanced.
also, look at your diet and what you are putting into your body. If you are eating a lot of snack foods... try eating one less snack every day, or replace it with something healthy, like an apple, or some Celery.
