Oh I know just what you mean! It feels impossible. I drink as much water as I can instead of other things like soda. Then when I can't stand to drink any more water, I switch to tea. You could use flavored waters too. Just keep trying to drink as much as you can. That's all most of us do.

I'm guessing you're trying to drink 8 glasses a day because you read somewhere that it was good for your body to drink that much. In realiity, that 8 glasses can be in any form, including water contained in food. Most food, especially fruit and veg contains water and that can be included in the 8 glasses.
I reckon if you're drinking 5 glasses a day and eating sensibly, you are probably getting the required amount. Don't worry.

Oh boy. Scientific studies show that you do not need 8 glasses of water a day JUST to be hydrated. In fact, a few years back a (female) marathon runner died from drinking TOO much water. Basically, if you don't feel thirsty and your throat isn't dry, you're hydrated. Oh, and the color of your urine is an indicator also. Clear is healthy. Yellow is just all right.

when they say 8 glasses that is equal to about 2 litres of fluid so they don't need to be huge glasses.
Also you take fluid in in other ways such as through a glass of juice or milk.
Remember that the 8 glasses is over a 24 hour period not just work hours so there is plenty of time to spread them around and i'm sure if you have a close look at your fluid intake you are probably somewhere around the 8 glass mark.

You don't need to drink 8 glasses of water a day. You certainly don't need 1/2 your body weight (in oz.) per day. You don't need ANY arbitrary target amount per day. Drink when you're thirsty. Period!

try a different brand of water which might surprisingly taste better and then you will be able to drink more. also set little goals for water drinking through out the day and before u know it u'll be drinking 100 glasses a day or at least 8

they say its healthy to drink 8 glasses a day, but if you cant do it and you feel sick if you do then its obviously not the best choice. i dont drink 8 glasses a day, but i limited water to the only liquid i drink. or try drinkin a cup every 1 and a half hours

its really not so bad.
one in the morning.
one before lunch.
one after lunch.
one later in the afternoon.
one before dinner.
one after dinner.
one later at night.
one before you sleep.
but i have to say that the above scheduled drinking times are really stupid and very redundant. all you have to do is TRY to drink as much water as you can and TRY to hit that 8 glasses a day target.
i drink more that 8 glasses of water a day so it's not impossible. just try again till you get it.

that 8 glasses of water a day is actually inclusive of everything you eat and drink all day. Everything has water in it. You are probably getting enough as long as you eat healthy and make an effort to stay hydrated.

Your supposed to get 8 glasses of water daily, but you can a lot of this water in the foods you eat.
Five glasses a day in additon to the water found in the foods you eat is great!

some times the 8 glass a day thing doesnt work out for everyone. ive heard that people should drink have of their weight in ounces. so if you weigh 120, you would only need 60 ounces a day, instead of the typical 64. a full sized glass is usually more than 8 ounces. so when people say 8 glasses a day, they really only mean 64 ounces. most bottled water also are much more than 8 ounces. if you read the nutrition facts, it might say 1 bottle is two servings. so theres 2 glasses right there. try to space out when you drink it. remember you dont have to drink a whole glass in one sitting. you can keep a bottle of water with you while exercise and sip on it every so often. drink a glass with a meal. keep some cold water handy when at the office. pretty soon it should add up. good luck! =]

start earlier in the morning, tell yourself I have to drink 4 glasses by 12 or 1 and then tell yourself I have to have to more down by 4 or 5 and I have to drink at least 2 before bed................. that has worked great for me
try it and let me know if your able to make it work
